  1. Is this a 100 percent online lvn school?
  2. Im a cna and you can tell the difference before swallowing any meds or vitimins. I was diagnosed with adhd as a child. Even nurses on the job have asked me,so I caved in and got a prescription. I dont take it often and now been off it for 4 months since I'm job hunting due to possible drug tests....I don't know how anyone can like the stuff, but those with actual adhd know how beneficial it is. I would just skip the job and apply elsewhere.
  3. True about lvns.... ADN your state must be better. Texas is a awful unforgiving state. I can't even do ADN. I may have to be in debt forever no way out.
  4. This is true, but I was told even if I was a lvn they still wouldn't let me be a Rn.
  5. I agree it should be illegal. I called another university in another state...same issue stupid el centro college labeled Fs when it should be Ws.
  6. I wanted to be a nurse for over 15 years. I'm a cna who finally got a liberal arts degree last year in May. I switched my majors due to many hours working nearly daily as a low wage cna with rent ect. I withdrew from dcccd A&P classes twice in the year 2014.... I learned recently that when trying to apply at Dallas nursing institute for RN....instead of puting W they put F twice! I called the dean...well was told thats who I'm suppose to talk to and she wants me to prove I withdrew in the year 2014......after hanging up I couldn't help, but to cry. No Rn problem will accept me....except West cost university....which cost 6 figures. Im low income,no family,no boyfriend or husband,no friends who could help....just me myself and I. I don't know what else to do. Any advice and no I don't have a interest in lvn. I'm hearing at west coast you have to come up with monthly payments...there have been times I can't feed myself due to high rent. I want to be a nurse so badly,but...
  7. That's why we have 100% turn over rates, low pay plus your nurse don't want help. I know several CNAs now much happier at Wal-Mart plus they give raises. Articles coming out of CNA shortage low pay and sorry nurses who see your busy, but won't answer a call light. Now I'm seeing nurses forced to do CNA work because they have a hard time hiring ....nurses went to school to pass meds and sit smh. I can't stand nurses...
  8. I'm tired of being a slave to lazy nurses
  9. Thanks a lot, I got confused and lost on the next move!
  10. wow......Rns are popular:stone
  11. I mean anywhere in the USA? And is it true you get to travel?
  12. Its raining now, I live in Fort Lauderdale, Plantation area. I do have a HHA paper, problem is people are either hiring some LPNs or many Rn's and a decent amount of CNA's.........HHA's was a huge mistake and a waste of money. The school I go to is in Maimi andmost people there live close by, no one in my class is from my area. Plus I know even if they did I would feel so bad to ask for a ride to get there and can't pay for their gas at least. But counseling center............how much do they cost? I only have 20.00 in my name. Like I needed to go to the doctor last month but just stick it out, and am ok now though. And your right I do need to take steps I am rushing because I want out. But rushing is making things worse I believe, and don't worry I am glad you are sharing your advice and your not belittling me.
  13. More education...........meaning become a RN? Or something else?
  14. I should become a RN later..........but what about the LPNs?
