Priority date & retrogression
Thank you for you reply. So, in order to complete the process that would mean that I would have to finish my interview before May 2015 right? If I can't do that, then would you know what would happen to the Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee that I paid as well as the documents that I submitted? Would NVC keep hold of them on record or will I start over again once my priority date becomes current again? Thank you.

Priority date & retrogression
Hello, In the Visa Bulletin website, for April 2015 it's posted that the priority date for employment-based 3rd preference was 01OCT2014. However, for the May 2015 it's 01JUL2007. My priority date is July 2009. Does this mean it's retrogression again? Does this mean that I can't continue with my immigration process?

Clarification: Reciprocity vs. Endorsement
Thank you. I am only trying to keep my results from being destroyed. The reason for NJ is because my family is there. I've learned my lesson, I never should have gone to Ca in the first place. I've already looked into Vt, however, it says on their application [by exam] that if I have already applied for the same application in another state then I cannot apply to them... I can't apply by endorsement either because I don't have a license. Is it true that I can only apply for licensure by exam in only one state? Well, thank you for the help. I'll be doing more research and see what other options are available.

Clarification: Reciprocity vs. Endorsement
Hi, I called NJ BON, however, the person that I talked to would not listen to my questions/explanation. She kept saying that, if I do not have an SSN, NJ will not issue me a license. I explained myself... She put me on hold for 20 minutes. When she came back she still would not listen. She finally transferred me to an automatic recording. It took me two days to contact NJ and that is what I got. I called Ca BON and they said that they would need a form from NJ. Please, I need advice. I do not know anyone else to ask. My NCLEX results are expiring next year. Should I just go and apply for license by exam, complete the CES and then use said verification form? Thank you.

Clarification: Reciprocity vs. Endorsement
Hello, I am applying for a license in NJ but I took the NCLEX from Ca How can I forward my NCLEX results to NJ? According to Ca BON, the other state should have a license verification form. NJ does have one but it is from their endorsment packet. Can I use this form (and then apply for license by exam + CES)? Also, do I have to wait for eligibility from NJ before I ask Ca to forward my NCLEX? Thank you. :)

endorsement to NJ
I emailed them and this is what they said, "You can only apply for Endorsement if you have a license in another state. If California hasn't issued you a license, you wouldn't be able to apply for Endorsement. Also, if you took the NCLEX for California, you must comply with their requirements to obtain their license." Technically, I won't be applying for endorsement but for licensure by examination. The only difference is that California will be forwarding my results. I'll be completing NJ BON's requirements for examination and when it's been approved, Ca will forward my NCLEX results. This process isn't mentioned by NJ BON although, it has been talked about (somewhat) in the forums. I just need final confirmation. Is this possible? Thank you.

endorsement to NJ
Hello Silverdragon, Is this process possible for New Jersey? I know that they don't issue a license until after you complete their criminal background screening but at least my NCLEX results will not expire... Is that correct? Thank you

endorsement to NJ
Hello, I have already passed the NCLEX exam for the California BON. However, since I am not an immigrant, the California BON has not issued me a license/license number. I also do not have a social security number. I would like to apply for a license in NJ but I understand that I cannot apply for an endorsement since there is no license to endorse. However, I would like to know if it is possible to transfer my NCLEX results from California to New Jersey and obtain a license from that state? Thank you.

Hello, How long do you think this program will last? I read on the linked website that it will last for one year but do you think it's possible they'll extend it indefinitely?

visascreen documents - license verification
Hello, I am a nurse from the Philippines. I took and passed my NCLEX for California but I don't have my SSN yet. I am also applying for my visascreen. I read on the Ca BRN website that I need to send my "Validation of Registration/License For VisaScreen" to the following address: California Board of Registered Nursing Attn: Renewals Unit P.O. Box 944210 Sacramento, CA 94244-2100 However, I received an email from the Renewals Unit where they said that since I do not yet have a license, all questions/paperwork should go through the licensing unit. Do you think I should change the "Attn" to Licensing Unit? I'm worried, I don't want it to be lost because I sent it to the wrong unit. Help please...

military nurse prior service
Thank you again, that was very helpful. I did not know that recruiters also visited other countries. I've already visited the service websites and asked around but I will definitely follow your advice. Thanks. :)

Thank you very much for the information. I have one more question, will I be allowed to enlist in the US armed forces if I have prior service in the Philippine military? Thank you.

military nurse prior service
Hello, I am a Filipino who is hoping to migrate to the US soon. Assuming that I have already obtained US citizenship, if I have prior service as a military nurse in the Philippines, will I be allowed to enlist in the USA (Air Force, Navy or Army) as a military nurse? If I only have a green card, Will I be allowed to join as an enlisted man? Thank you
