I just took the entrance test in June. The HESSI exam was ok to go through. I would buy the study guide that you can buy. It is $35. Well worth it. They also have free tutoring that you can attend for the math section. At least in the Centerville location. Good luck!

Who is starting LPN in August?
I start on August 4th. I am so excited and nervous. I graduate in July 09. Tomorrow is my last day at work. I have been laid off to due a reduction in force. It's a little depressing because I was the money maker of the family, but being able to go back to school is something that I have been wanting to do for so long. It all works out in the end.

Palm / PDA for LPN program
Thank you all for your replies. I think that I am going to go ahead and get my Palm. I am such a gadget freak as well. I think that it will make things a lot easier.

anyone else counting down
I'm with you all. I was told on May 16th that July 11th was going to be my last day of work. I'm being laid off. I have been counting down work days ever since. I currently have 5 days left and cannot wait. My orientation is on the 22nd and I am just trying to keep from buying things until then. My school starts on 8/4. I cannot wait!

Palm / PDA for LPN program
Hello I am getting ready to start an LPN program at Rets Tech in the beginning of August. I have read a lot of post on here about using a Palm or other PDA with the different medical software. My question is, do you really that that it is worth the money to buy the Palm and all the software? Do you really get a use out of it while in classes and clinicals? Or would it not really be used until you are in the field? Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.
