  1. simply, GWA is your average grade. I don't know about the other hospitals but I believe UST requires a 2.0 average for interested applicants.
  2. ^thanks for posting the req'ts :) are they accepting applicants at this time?
  3. I'm not from Perpetual Help Manila but I checked it out for you and looks like the tuition fee for 2nd year students go for 30 to 40 thousand so yes, you can expect it to go up as much as 60 thousand for the third year because of the hospital duty. Students will need to pay affiliation fee to the hospitals causing such a high tuition fee.
  4. People like Dr. Tan are really really out of touch with what is happening with nurses here in our country! If they only knew how much perseverance and patience it takes with finding a job as a staff nurse if you don't have any connections. I wish they could open their eyes to reality before making any statements like that
  5. Congrats Raine :) I haven't even got a message yet regarding an initial interview, but it's only been a couple since I passed my resume. I do hope they contact me for an interview..
  6. Thanks dhel. :) It's nice that this thread came up, I'm actually learning important stuff. I'll try to dress more "manang" then.. :chuckle
  7. Oh my, so there's such a thing as coming off "too sosyal" and that will be taken as a point against you. I always try to dress nicely even if I'll just be passing my resume. I hope I don't come off as the "sosyal" type. :stone
  8. I wasn't given the application form too. I was just asked to sign up on a piece of paper together with the other applicants who were there at he moment. Different applicants coming at different times seem to undergo different procedures.
  9. no, is just left my resume with the guard and he let me sign up on a paper. all the other applicants with me at that time didn't get IQ tests either. Should I be worried?
  10. i just passed my application yesterday, the guard told me to just leave my resume. I had all the other requirements but it seems like they don't need it yet. I was told that the requirements will be passed during the initial interview. I do hope I get a call from them... there are not many hospitals accepting applications at this time.
  11. I see.. so the process with getting into the training is relatively a short wait but waiting for you to get hired will take a long time.. I just submitted my requirements last Saturday, how long does it usually take for them to contact you to take the exam?
  12. hi guys. I'm also interested in going to Canada. I have a question, if I sent in my application for one province, say BC, and then I got a work offer at another province, Alberta for example, will I need to have my documents reassessed? How about the 250 hours and CRNE exam, will I also need to redo that?
