I live in the inland empire, California and I graduated jan 09 and passed boards may 09 and still cant find a job. Im giving up on nursing and Ive just decided whatever job I can get will do. My standards went from applying at hospitals to applying at bottom of the barrell nursing homes, but even they require experience or they have hiring freezes. Im to the point where retail or fast food is looking good. At least it pays the bills. I just wish I never wasted 18 months and 24,000$. I get depressed having to pay 300 dollars a month in loans when there is no money.

go with the bsn program. It is very difficult to get an lvn job without experience.

I dont think any hospitals hire new grads. I live in riverside county and got my license in May. Almost 6 months of job hunting and no luck. Its getting really frustrating and Im starting to give up hope. My loans payment kicked in 2 months ago and money is running low. I dont know if I can make it to the end of the year without a job. I dont understand why everyone, even nursing homes, want at least 6 months experience. How do you get experience then!!! Im starting to think this was a waste of time and money. I chose nursing cause it was a safe career where you could go anywhere and get a job, or so I thought

Some advise would be to not take the H1n1 vaccine period for anyone. Do some research on the vaccine and look up the ingedients. I dont know about you but Im sure hell not taking a vaccine with animal tissue such as pig blood, rabbit brain, dog kidney, monkey kidney and aborted fetal tissue. Thats just a few ingredients and if you dont believe me look it up yourself. Its disgusting the government is trying to inject millions of people with a drug that has never been tested. That explans why the makers of the vaccine wont ever take it themselves.

There is no way I would take this vaccine even if it meant getting fired from my job. This swine flu vaccine has not been tested and they want to inject it into millions of people. Have people lost their minds? Look up the ingredients. It contains animal tissue such as: pig blood, rabbit brain, dog kidney, fetal bovine serum, abborted fetal tissue polysorbate 80, and a whole lot more. That is disgusting and whats even more disturbing is that they want to inject it into pregnant woman. People please do your research before getting this! The media and government are hyping this up to look like its the most deadly thing out there. The pharmacys just want their money and the sick minded people in government want to sterilize people for population control. Why do you think they want to give it to the younger generation? This is all a scam!! Please don't fall for it!! The people who made the vaccines wont even take it themselves!
