  1. Anyone else receive a phone call? I carry my work phone and my cell phone on me and I keep calling my personal phone to make sure its working and I can hear it loud and clear! This is like when I was pregnant and waiting for my water to break... the suspense is killing me!
  2. Happened to stumble upon your post and as I was reading it I thought you were going to say you were quitting altogether... I am so happy that not only are you going to continue, but that you will be in a classroom with peers, because it sounds like you definitely need some "ME" time! Good luck to you. I sincerely hope you still don't feel that you failed. I can "hear" the excitement in your post and I wish you the best.
  3. Oh wait, my screen just updated! Some of you found out? Congrats!!
  4. Aww phooey! I am checking this thread from my phone because I'm still at work, was hoping one of you would have posted saying you got a letter! Okay, one more week, I can deal with that :/
  5. Thanks for the info studionurse... I guess I don't have to go to mailbox today
  6. Thanks Studionurse! I feel the same way you feel, would rather go to County... but I'm right at that cutoff so if I don't make it I need to have a backup plan.
  7. Congratulations! You must be on cloud 9!I hope to be posting the very same message in a few days... after I tell me daughter and my husband and call my mom, who is my biggest cheerleader!
  8. Hey all! 16th of April... The end of the month is taking forever to get here :/ @lovetosleep... go back to sleep and find out if my name is on that stolen list!
  9. End of April? Ugh, I was thinking it was mid-April. So I guess I can stop making mad dashes for the mailbox... for now! :/
  10. I've been reading some old posts from people who applied (and got accepted) in 2010 and earlier... some of these posts said they found out they got accepted via a PHONE CALL! Does anyone know anything about this? Phone call, letter, email, I don't care, just tell me already!
  11. Every night I log on here hoping to see if anyone has heard anything yet... I'm going crazy waiting to see if I got in, I'm nauseous! Good luck all!
  12. Taking the test tomorrow and studying right now... I took it last year and failed by three measly questions. And yes, I remember thinking "there has to be a mistake, they gave me the RN test!" Actually, there were some questions where I thought they gave me the physician test! Hoping I do well tomorrow... I need this, my company will reimburse me the cost of the test and I get a dollar raise (yay)... money is money!!
  13. Hi, did you already take the TEAS? At the test we were told that LVN-RN's would find out by mid-April. Good luck!
  14. 45 here and just submitted my application for an LVN-RN program! When I made a career change at 42 and went for my LVN, I told myself I would stop at my RN. Now that I'm used to juggling this chaotic life of work and studying and family, I think I may just go for my BSN!
  15. I didn't take the combined class, but I did have Haas for Physiology (by itself) last Fall and he was awesome. Really broke down the material so you could understand it. Probably one of the best instructors I've had so far!
