Orlando Tech... new here
hi everyone, i am so glad i read this post. i want to become an rn , but i need my prerequisites and want to go to vcc (valencia) i read on another post that my best bet is to take an lpn course at orlando tech and take some of my prereq while in lpn school then to go to vcc and take the lpn bridge to rn ;which i was told is much easier and a faster way to get into the rn program. i am new to this pre requisite thing. how many classes of pre req do i need to become an rn? can i take my prereques on line? do you reccommend it online? i want to go to orlando tech, but i won't be out in time to pick up my kids from school. is there another program in orange county that the hours are from 8am until 1pm? besides keiser too expensive. i know orlando tech offers night classes ,but i work nights. thank you!!!!

Need info on becoming a new student as an R.N
I know. it does total 8 months, but I was told if I want to do my BSN I can only do it through Keiser. After your finacial aid grants was there a lot more you had to pay out of pocket?

need RN school advice
Hi everyone, I am very new to this and would like to know how I can go about getting my RN the fastest way? I am a medical assistant with ten years experience. I have no pre requisites and I actually wanted to know what pre reqs do I need to take in order to get my asn for rn? Can I take these pre reqs on line? I was thinking about going to Keiser, but I hear it is way too expensive and that If I want to continue my education to get my BSN in nursing I can only do with them that is about $60.000 in total geesh! Please guide me through this. I have no clue. I am looking to do this , but at the same time I have children in school and was hoping the school I attend lets out before the children do. I also work nights. Thanking you in advance!!!!!!!

Orange county SCC or VCC?
Another question. So, if I actually take the Lpn program does it mean that I have less pre requisites to take to get in the RN bridge program that I would if I was just going straight for my R.N. couse at VCC? 2. If I did take my pre reques at Vcc how long could that take? I mean how many classes would I need? I hear that a lot of CC like to give students pre req classes they don't even end up needing. How will I know which ones are thhe right ones to take?

Orange county SCC or VCC?
Hi Luv4nursing I read your post about taking the lpn course then taking the bridge to become an RN. I am veryinterested in pursuing my career as an R.N. I was going to go to Keiser College, but was told that besides it being very expensive, that if I did complete my courses with them , that I would have to continue with them for a BSN because I can not transfer any of their credits to another school. Anyway I do not have any pre requisites at all and was thinking of attending Valencia college for my R.N., but read your tread and figured maybe I could do it the way you did. I have a few questions if you don't mind? 1. If I appy for Orlando Tech or SCC for the lpn program with finacial aid, will I also be eligible that year to take pre requisites at VCC? If not how should I go about this? 2. I do not have any pre requisites which pre req do I need to become an R.N while I am taking my LPN program? Could you name the actual pre reqs that I will need? I am clueless and new to this! 3.What are the day hours for the LPN program in orlando tech? 4. How long is the LPN program when does it start? 5. Can I take pre reqs on line at VCC? Please guide me through this I have no clue I am looking to do this , but at the same time I have children in school and was hoping the school lets out before the childrren do I also work nights. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!
