  3. Good Luck on your exam. I was fortunate enough to pass mine last week. YOU can do great. Take your time, don't rush. Let us know how you do!!
  4. Hopeful. I am so sorry you didnt pass. I took mine Monday and I also got 265 questions, I did pass but I was worried I didnt. Don't stop trying, you can pass it. If I had not passed I was prepared to take it again. Your heart will lighten up give it some time.
  5. I took my NCLEX on monday! Found out I passed today. I got all 265 questions, I walked out like oh my God!! I did the Kaplan Trainer and Saunders. Honestly, I think Kaplan had more NCLEX style questions but not sure if either helped. You need to know Lab values though. Hope this helps. Good luck. You can do it.
  6. I found out I pass Nclex today and I got 265 questions, didn't feel good about it when I walked out but I pass and I am so happy. You get 265 questions if the computer hasnt determined if you are absolutely competent yet. Doesnt matter if you get 75 or 265, it stops when you have proven that you have met minimum competence to take care of parients as a new grad
  7. Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'm sure I will use this tip when I start. As a new grad, were you able to negotiate your salary at all?
  8. Hello, I am to moving to greensboro, and have an interview with moses cone hospital. What is there starting pay for new graduates and what are there sign on bonuses like? What do you think of the hospital so far? thanks.
  9. hello, I am also moving to Greensboro in a few weeks and I am interviewing with moses cone. What is the starting pay or new grads and what are there sign on bonuses like? If you could give me some insight, i would appreciate it. Thanks.
  10. Does anyone familiar with Moses Cone know what the starting pay is for new grads? I am looking for at least 23-25/hr starting out. What about their sign on bonuses?
  11. I just graduated Nursing school and I remember my first year!!! Find a good study partner!! After a few test, you get to learn of the ones who are doing well, these are the ones you want to attach yourself to throughout nursing school. Set certain times to study each week and each person in the group contributes note cards on their assigned chapters and then each of you exchange note cards on your chapters....What someone doesnt understand, you should be able to teach them about it. Ask each other questions as you read together....This is really helpful because it forces you to remember it because it encourages conversation about the topic. Lastly, Please read your chapters because instructors love to pull questions directle from the book, and if you read your chapters and do the review question for the chapter, you will be way ahead...My motto in school was to not be fooled by any question...Pride yourself on being prepared for any question they may add!! I hope this helps.
  12. lol. Yea I noticed that after I posted. I thought it was 1st year nursing school. My bad. I have my first Inteview this month the 30th and I am excited about it. What about you? Hve you started working yet?
