  1. I took the NCLEX-RN twice and was able to passed it. For me, on my previous exams(both) it seems i have encountered a lot of Psyche, diabetic insipidus, MI and infectious diseases.
  2. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
  3. faeriewand, congratulations!!!:yeah:
  4. You felt that the questions was easy compared to the last test you had before...probably because you know how the questions goes as you had experience to take this test already and on top of that you have studied therefore don't be frightened or have any feeling of doubt...YOU ARE PREPARED, YOU THOUGHT THE QUESTIONS WERE EASY...HOPEFULLY YOU MIGHT HAVE THE GOOD NEWS. GoodLUCK!!! You have taken the test...NOW it's time for you to get your mind out from it temporarily...RELAX for few days. After that get yourself ready again...for the RESULT.
  5. for me...green always gives me luck. when i took my driving written exam, i have a green elephant jade pendant on my pocket...i passed it with perfect score. during my nclex exam, i also have this green elephant jade pendant with me...after few days...i received the lightest white envelope i ever had with "you have passed the nclex-rn exam". green is hope.
  6. congratulations to all the last-week-may test takers who passed. let us keep the may thread alive. i'll remain here as the may family encouraged me so much and by reading their advices and experiences...i have learned from it. it also helped me to build by confident during my exam. may family is my lucky charm too.:redpinkhe
  7. missmykids & the rest of june test takers, goodluck and our prayers to you guys. when i took my exam last may...everytime before i click the "n"-next, i prayed first...yah everytime as in everytime i move to the next question. i whispered to myself "lord let this be right". it helps...got 75q's and passed it. again goodluck. pray to divine mercy. wear something green or carry some stuff with green. they say...it's a lucky color. it attracts luck & charm.:nurse:

  13. i read this thread regarding the u.s ssn few weeks ago written here somewhere but couldn't find it now..." no u.s social security number, your name won't appear on the ca bon website. there's a lot of foreign nurses (especially filipino nurses in uk) and they're already a nclex-rn passer...you won't see all their names on the ca bon website only if they have legal papers to work and stay, an immigrant/ being petitioned by us citizen or person who has legal documents here in us.:nuke:
  14. did i confused you guys? this is what written on the letter: this is notification that you have passed the nclex-rn examination and that you have met all other licensing requirements except for submitting a valid u.s. social security number (ssn). your ssn is needed to issue a permanent rn license. please submit your ssn on the form below. when you obtain your ssn, you are advised that you must also promptly report it to all appropriate agencies, such as the california franchise tax board. most of my friends in uk (foreign graduates...bsn in the philippines) who took the nclex-rn (they normally don't have a ssn# as they don't live in us and not entitle to have a ssn# as yet...only if they are legal to stay and work here in us...then they can have a ssn#). they also received same letter as mine but they successfully passed the nclex-rn. my friend who just arrived here in us(petitioned by her parents).she has the same letter as mine. she's legal to stay here in us, hence, she's entitled to have ssn#, after getting that at sss , she then forwarded it to the bon. after few weeks, ahe received her license. i hope i get everything cleared about this. hehehehe!!!
  15. GOODLUCK and try to think on the day of your exam that this is just a QUIZ that you don't need to feel too anxious for this...'coz if you are...you might have a mental block.
  16. :clphnds: :ancong!:
  17. Kinda hard and really frustrating:banghead: to wait for the result. I took my exam on 5/12 received the PASSED:yeah: result on 5/24 after 12 days. My name was not on the CA BRN website as they need my SSN# but i did wrote it on my application form. Easy to say but THINK POSITIVE to attract good energy and a lot of PRAYERS. You will be a part of this world soon.

  19. Well...received it by SNAILMAIL . But my name wasn't on the CA BON website, as said on the letter they want me to send my SSN# so they can issue my license; as a matter of fact when i submitted my application for re-examination i have wote my SSN# on it. Well...are they checking the form thoroughly? DUH!!! Well...forgive...:wink2: human mistake. :wink2: MAGIC 12 :wink2: May 12,2008 at 0800: Date of my NCLEX-RN (nice number huh...0 & 8) May 21,2008: the date on the letter i received from CA BON (12 turn to 21) May 24, 2008:the date when i took the LIGHTEST WHITE ENVELOPE EVER from the mailbox ( 24 divided 2 = 12 )
  20. i’m also a may nclex-rn test taker (2nd time) with 75q’s. i took my exam on the 12th of may (california board). when i went out of the testing room, it was a mixed feeling . kind of sad and fear that i might be a failure again as i have encountered a lot of sata which i honestly haven’t given a lot of attention to it during my review. i have 2 calculations (mg/kg/dose) which i knew for sure the other one was wrong as i just guess the answer. pharma on my exam were all side effects and health teaching, which i managed to answer with 35% doubt. so i wasn’t really sure if i pass the exam. :lol_hitti other way, i also felt relief as after the exam …i got to rest my brain, eyes, ears away from the books and my mp3 review. on top of everything, right after my exam we went to watched the ironman as i missed to watch it on the first showing…why???... as i was stuck :yldhdbng: reviewing the nclex. it’s true… i feel like i have no life that time…but for sure if you really want it…with dedication, a lot of prayers coming from the heart :redbeathe and being strict with your study habits, in return the success is just within your reach.:gtch: as now…i can proudly say and place the initial rn right after my name. :prdnrs: ‘got my result after 12 days. thank you ever so much to everyone here and to :redbeathesuzanne:redbeathe as i followed here advice too… :lttang:for those who are taking the exam soon my prayers and goodluck to you all. :pntrghi: formula of my own success: :pntlft: (strict 2 months review at home…got no chance to enroll to a classroom type of review as got no money) prayers before i start my review follow :heartbeatsuzanne’s advice :heartbeat saunders (book and cd q’s) kaplan’s strategies and q’banks feuer audio review (really helps me a lot, if my eyes are already tired…then i listened to this) nclex cd q’s by springhouse nclex-rn review card by mosby ncsbn (the way the questions delivered in nclex quite... nearly the same) nclex-rn notes core review & exam prep (pocket guide) by fadavis (really handy as i can carry it with me everywhere) of course…the updates from allnurses.com try to answer atleast 100 q’s a day youtube (why???...i’ve watched the ecg interpretation and the cpr here) :monkeydance:oopss...don’t forget to exercise even just a stationary jog and stretching to have a good circulation in your brain and drink plenty of water and….please give your brain a break too. (i don't mean by this...hahahaha!!!) it seems that the board is throwing a lot of sata type of question…so better prepare yourself on this. goodluck again and thanks everyone. i’m happy to move on to another step…doesn’t end here right?!:anbd:.....:grad: :dncgbby:lalalalala!!!lalalalala!!!
  21. I also took the NCLEX-RN same day as you. Until now still waiting for the result. It's killing me softly. The computer stopped at 75. Got a lot of SATA, prioritization, delegation, 2 calculations which i know i got the other one wrong (all about mg/kg/dose), more than 10 pharma...their side effects & health teaching. Everyday i've been checking the BON website and before i check our mailbox i prayed a lot. Kinda hard isn't...the waitng time. GOODLUCK to all of us.
  22. When & where did you took the exam? How long did you waited for the result?
  23. :onbch:CONGRATULATIONS!!!
  24. Goodluck to you also kababayan:nuke:. We wish we can just pass this challenge so we can move to the next step...as it never ends here .
  25. :tinkbll:LETJACKSON897.... :tku: for the reply. Greatly appreciated:wink2:. Yah, it's true checking the CA BON website everyday makes my heart pounds :redbeathe so fast...even just typing :typing your name on it. All we need to do is ...:hngon:, pray :plsebeg:& hope for the BEST :caduceus: and let's try to lessen our :wtosts:.
