Florida Hospital College
I just had an admission rep, sent me some info and their NET passing rate or percentage rather is lower than the other schools I've looked into.

I started LPN school today!
Yes I have the net book, in fact it's true what you guys say about it being the same as the test. As I said before, I failed the reading comprehension part before because of the timing. I missed 8 questions, sadly my time ran out. But now as I try to study I find myself lost and not able to concentrate and that is very fustrating for me, for some reason I keep thinking that this reading comprehension is so hard. God help, please help!

Orlando Tech... new here
Hi, my name is Angie and I was reading your post. Sometimes we have to make sacrafices in order to get to where we want to be. I am currently looking into Orlando Tech, but most likely I will be attending the evening program that starts in Jan 09. I too have children and I know how hard it can be, kids, school, work and all the others things on top of that. But if you have family and/or friends to support you, that is great. Unlike me I don't! So I have to rely on my husbands support, which is by far the best support I can ever get. Well best of wishes to you and remember, you can do anything if you set your mind to it. Blessings to you!

Orlando Tech... new here
Thanks. A&P is not that bad. I am an MA and I've taken A&P I, II. But yeah I'm sure the nursing program is tough and as long as you put your mind to it anything is possible, right? How are the teachers, staff? Are they really good at teaching the LPN program? What are the hours for the day class like?

Orlando Tech... new here
Yes, that is great for you! I am not sure whether or not to try going to Orlando Tech. What I don't like about them is that they ask for an application fee, test fee. I believe we should first be able to take the test and then if we pass, pay for the app. fee, you know? Well I guess all schools are different. Orlando Tech wants you to take a TABE test prior, is it hard? Well the evening class would start in Jan for me but I still don't know if I will be able to afford going during the day, do to me loosing my job. Well when you get a chance, write back and best of luck to you. Maybe if I pass of course we can meet each other some day. God bless you!

Any Florida PreNursing Students?
Great, congrats to her! Well I'll just have to see which school will be best for me and which school will accept me. I took the net test at Herzing college and I passed the math but when it came to the reading I missed 8 freakin questions, my time was done. But I am studying the reading part so I can beat the time instead of the time beating me.

Any Florida PreNursing Students?
ok thanks! I will look into Keiser College. I am thinking about the LPN program at Orlando Tech for the evening, but the classes start in Jan 09, I guess that will give me enough time to study. What do you think about Orlando Tech?
-
Any Florida PreNursing Students?
Great! Question, though! Do they offer an evening program? and if not what are the hours for the day program?

Any Florida PreNursing Students?
I believe they have a program in Orlando, which is the area you are going to? Keiser in Orlando has never had a graduating class and they offer the program in the am, I hope they are board certified!

Any Florida PreNursing Students?
what school are you going to? I am going to an orientation at SCC today to check out their program there. I am unclear as to do the LPN at Orlando Tech or the RN at SCC whom offers the RN evening/weekend program, so confused right now!

Just Lost My Ma Job
Thanks! I got one of my cars fixed which will allow my husband to get to work and the other will be fixed today, God willing! The ages of my children are as follows, 9, 6 and 2. My two oldest are in elementary school and my daughter was going to daycare. I am planning on going to evening/weekend RN school, which will work out but it is in Jan 09. I believe things happen for a reason. I trust God and I trust His plan even though I am afraid but I have no choice but to trust in the One who created me, you know? I just have to stay focus on God and in His words of encouragement and pray, if not I don't know what I will do. My dream is to be a nurse practitioner and I have to start out by being a nurse odviously. Well again thanks, God bless!
