  1. :redbeathe I love that this thread is still going strong. I've been a nurse now for two years. I'm still working in the position I took when I graduated, med-surg and pediatrics. And praise be to God, I still love it!!! Here is a prayer for those of you who are testing soon, or wating for reslults: Dear Good and Gracious Father, We love you and praise you. We give you all the glory and honor, for making it this far through school, and this far in our careers. Thank you for growing this thread from a humble little post, to a support system for so many. I pray for your mercy to fall upon each one who reads this prayer while waiting for exam results, or for those preparing to test. Open the minds of those who will be testing soon. As they study guide them to the exact material they will need to review in order to pass. Father help them to retain what they need to retain, and give each one instant recall as they answer questions. Clear their minds of clutter and distraction and reveal that which is hidden from them. Father I pray for those who are waiting test results. Give peace to every individual waiting on test results as they read this. Lord, what ever the outcome for each of those waiting, help them to know that you are in control, and that the are very real and personal to you, and that they are precious. Thank you Father for placing the desire to become nurses in the hearts of those who are reading this. I lift them up in your Holy Name, Amen.
  2. Hi All: It is so good to see this thread going strong, it carried me through those crazy days of getting ready to take NCLEX, and I am blessed to say I have been an RN for 16 months!! For all of you testing this week I pray God's abundant blessings and favor for you. Hang in there, it is so worth it!! God bless and keep you, each and everyone. Remember, "if God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31. :redbeathemat25:40
  3. Hi All: I am so happy to see this thread still going strong!! I don't get a chance to visit the site much, but I remember what a life line this thread was to me while I was waiting to take NCLEX. I'd like to offer a prayer for those of you who will be testing soon. Here goes. Dear Good and Loving Father, I praise you and lift your name above all others. I ask for your forgiveness, and I thank you for your graciousness. I thank you endlessly for this thread and how you have grown it, and for the support it offers so many. Father bless each one who will be testing this week and the coming weeks. I pray that you will open their minds and hearts as they study. Help each one of them to know exactly where to focus their efforts as they study. Reveal to them the areas where they are weak, and give them victory in those areas. Give each test taker the peace that transcends all understanding. Father, for those who are waiting results, I ask for you to give them a measure of peace that they have never experienced. For those who have tested more than once, I ask for mercy. Father there are many postings on this thread by those who have asked for prayer and have not passed. I leave that at your feet, and pray that you will comfort them and use these difficult times to reveal yourself to them in ways the have never known. I thank you for hearing my heart, and for the blessings you will pour down upon my brothers and sisters. In the Name of Christ, I pray, Amen. God bless and keep each of you always. :redbeathe Your sister in Christ, Mat25:40, RN
  4. Hi to all my praying friends: I have not replied in a long while, I've been busy trying to get through my first year as an RN. I am so happy to see this thread going strong and reaching so many new grads, and upcoming test takers. It has been awhile but I would like to offer a prayer, here goes; Good and Gracious Father: We praise you and give you all honor and glory, we ask for you forgivness and thank you that we have even made far enough to test. For those who will be testing this week I pray for your mercy and grace. Give them insight and wisdom as they answer the test questions presented. Lord, I pray that they will instantly recall the information before them if they have covered it in class, and for what has not been covered, help them to rely on the instincts you have placed within them, to come to the right conclusion. Thank you for the gift it is to serve you each day in our work as nurses. In your precious name I pray, amen.:redbeathe Of the little I have done to advance the Kingdom of Christ, this thread is most meaningful. Remember always, the words of our precious Lord, "whatevere you do for the least of these you do for me."
