  1. I recently recertified with health force solutions in flushing, queens. I had a great instructor and the facility and the mannequins were really clean.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply! I'm very happy to hear about the thorough orientation. I am not that far along in the process, but it is good to get an idea of what's coming up in the near future. I'll keep you posted on how things go... BTW, any thoughts on the environment, culture of the Hospital would be appreciated. A.
  3. Hey girls1: sorry to *BUMP* this thread after all this time, but, I just got an offer from Lincoln. The ADON that I interviewed with actually called me. She said that I would have to wait to hear from HR to get the hiring process really started. I just wanted to get an idea of what the process was really like before you actually begin working. Like, how long you waited to hear from HR, how long they took to complete the background checks, how was the med math test...Any info would be appreciated. Anyone with info, feel free to respond. TIA PS-How is the ER going?
  4. Hey girls1: Were you in constant communication with Lincoln for the last 15 months or did they just call you out of the blue? Also do you know which units are hiring? Which unit are you going into? Any info would be appreciated...but 15 months...sheesh... thnx
  5. My GPA went from a 3.8 undergrad to a 3.3 for the accelerated BSN. Many of my classmates had GPA's well above a 3.5, but when I went back to school for nursing I had a husband, a child and got pregnant during the 15 month program. Alot of drama... But, if you don't let yourself get distracted with life, I'm sure you could graduate with the highest honors. You'll be fine.
