  1. HI everyone, I need some help. Can anyone help me find a place to get EKG certification. I've been doing some research and most of the courses are for EKG technician and those courses get months. I'm currently an RN in California. I recently went on an interview to work on the telemetry floor. The DON asked me if I have my EKG. Of course I told her I will get it. But I don't where. For a telemetry floor, did she mean for me to get the 12 lead ekg certification? Is EKG and 12 lead ekg the same? Does anyone know where I could get this in the Los Angeles area? and how long is the course? Thank you in advance
  2. Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. Thank you for posting. Your story is very reliable to me because I'm going through the similar process. Everything you felt that day you tested the first time, I felt too. I had all the same emotions you had. I failed on my first attempt last week so I'm definitely going through the grieving process. I've been sad for the past week. I've been feeling so alone but reading your story makes me feel normal and hopeful. I haven't told anyone that I tested besides my boyfriend. But it feels just as bad because I feel like I let him down. He's been nothing but supportive. This week I gave myself a break from it all so that I could regroup and let myself heal. I've been trying to figure out a way to study differently than I did before. I did kaplan. I know it sounds weird but I liked it. I thought the difficultly of the questions were very similar to the NCLEX but why didn't it help me. Did you do any course reviews? I'm debating a couple review but its so expensive. How did you study? Any tips? Thank you some much for sharing. And Congrats again

  9. I just found out i didn't pass on my first attempt. =/ I took the test in april so it was the new exam. I'm trying to figure out what to do next. since my study habits didn't help. what should i do??? I too, did the saunder's cd, and made notes on questions i didn't understand, and reviewed them. I feel STUCK! i need help and study tips? Do you think the kaplan book is better? do you know any review courses to take? ANYONE help?
