Best Insurance Companies for Nurse Case Managers
Hello All, Ive been a nurse for 10 years. I am looking for a new position as a nurse case manager since my current job in case management involves too much travel time/work hours/documentation leading to burnout. I am actively interviewing for 3 large insurance companies: Aetna/Coventry, UnitedHealth Group and Healthfirst. I am based in NJ very close to NY. I am interviewing for field nurse case manager positions with Aetna and UnitedHealth Group and a telecommuting position with HealthFirst. I would appreciate if any of you who have had any experience in working with any of these companies would offer ANY ADVICE in regards to the job, interview process, benefits. If it were you which of these 3 companies would you think would be the best career move. Any advice or information in regards to working as a nurse for any of these 3 companies wwill be greatly appreciated. Interviews have gone really well so far with all 3 and I want to make the best decision if I end up with more than one offer. Thanks

Chamberlain RN to BSN online program, July 2011
Hi ozzia, I will also be starting in July 2012. I am excited and anxious to be going back to school at the same time. I work full time and have two kids. I am also wondering how truly difficult is the program and if it is something doable and still have time for your family and other duties. God willing we will begin this program and graduate with our BSN. Hope to keep in touch with any of the students starting July 2012 so we can be of support for each other. Any tips any of the from current students or graduated students will be greatly appreciated? What classes were the hardest, which ones should be taken together/separately etc?
