  2. so glad to tell you know guys the trick worked for me, too! i got the board notification today. i give thanks to god for this awesome lifetime gift, what such a wonderful stepping stone to my future plans! thanks, too, st. therese of the little flower, st. jude, st. anthony, and mother mary for being with me on the day of my state board exam...
  3. "re: pearsonvue "trick"..is this true? does it work? i just called pearsonvue and asked them why can't i re-register (i get the good pop-up) and was told to contact bvnpt. they also told me that i should be able to re-register 24 hours after taking the exam. i then called bvnpt but was told that i cannot just re-register thru the pearsonvue website without first getting my result because they should send me an application again (should i failed the exam which i've been hoping and praying i passed it) so then i could send it back with a $75 chk, then wait about 4 weeks to receive the eligibility letter that way i could be allowed to re-register thru the pearsonvue website and pay the required $200 exam fee. i've been getting the good pop-up all the time i'd do the pvt. bvnpt already mailed my result yesterday. i was hoping to get it today but it didn't, for sure tomorrow it will get here. i am really hoping that this pvt would also work for me 'coz honestly i wouldn't know how i'd take it if i didn't pass the exam. my confusion here is that why would pearsonvue tell me i could re-register in just few hours later after taking the same exam, and only to get a different explanation from the bvnpt staff? please tell me i pass unofficially..." so glad to tell you know guys the trick worked for me, too! i got the board notification today. i give thanks to god for this awesome lifetime gift, what such a wonderful stepping stone to my future plans! thanks, too, st. therese of the little flower, st. jude, st. anthony, and mother mary for being with me on the day of my state board exam...

  6. Thanks, babie969 for the private response/email!
  7. I'll be taking the core program in a couple of weeks. I want to thank everyone for all your helpful input. This is my first day here and I'm enjoying my membership already.
  8. I'll be attending Gurnick in a couple of weeks and take the evening class. Any suggestions as far as helpful referrence materials I could avail of? I haven't taken Microbiology and Physiology but the pre-reqs program was waived for me when I took the challenge exam. I read a little bit on microbiology but I know my knowledge on it is very scant. I just finished Anatomy at the time I took the challenge exam for entry into the core prgram. I don't want to cut corners and short-change myself. I have no medical scenario experience at all. Can you share something on clinicals, and what I can look forward to encounter on my first few sessions doing it? I've been briefing my husband and older son about possible changes handling house chores while I'm in school. I really want to increase my chance of not only passing the LVN program but also to really do well as it is my hopes to further my nursing education. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I've been prgramming my brain like crazy that I'll do just fine. I have managed to conquer my fear of cadavers last semester in which there was an extensive dissections of human cadavers involved in the study of anatomy.
