  1. I graduated from MCI in December of 2006, I got a good education and was really prepared for the NCLEX exam. The credits won't transfer to other schools until MCI has NLNAC accredidation. The good thing is that the BSN program is about to start and that means the school has to have NLNAC before students can sit in a class for the BSN program. Other than that the school is wonderful, you have to catch on quick and not miss class, it is very easy for them to fail you but if you follow the rules you are good to go.
  2. I graduated from MCI's ASN program a little over a year ago. I got a great education and passed my NCLEX on the first try because they really prepared me for the test. I am going to MCI today to apply for their new BSN program that they offer. The clinicals I attended were at Sentara Careplex most of the time. Psych was at the Pines in VA Beach, OB at Mary Immaculate and ICU at the Veterans Hospital in Hampton. It just depends on what campus you attend, I went to the one in Newport News. The school is very fast paced but once you get the hang of it its great. Good luck!
  3. Hello, I am 27 years old and have my Associates as a RN, I just finished my first year in nursing. I worked on a med/surg floor on graveyard shift to get started and I just got a position in an ED on days. I am going today to apply for my BSN and the school I went to is accelerated and I had my ASN in 15 months and should have my BSN in less than a year.
  4. I am the youngest of two for my mother but the only child for my father, neither of my parents have abused alcohol, they are still married.
  5. It took me 15 minutes to take the 75 questions but I felt confident in myself and my study habits and I did in fact pass. The school I went to had us take tests online through a company that mocked the boards and it really helped.
