Dcccd 2006
Yeah, I wish I had thought about taking it over this semester. It's too late to take it before the fall application deadline.... BUT I WON'T GIVE UP. I've waited this long...

Dcccd 2006
TXMOM - thanks for calculating that for me. It DOES make sense to me now. It figures it's a 3.69. I was told they stopped accepting at 3.77 for the last application period. Maybe I will be retaking A & P I.

Dcccd 2006
Hi Everyone. I'll be applying for the fall semester at El Centro also. I'm worried about getting accepted, but I'm sooo ready to quit this job and go to school. The only class I need to get out of the way is Micro. Saved the best for last I guess, but I'm having trouble getting into a class at night. Does anyone know how to calculate your GPA? I have a "B" in A & P I and "A's" in the rest of the prereqs. What GPA would that be? I'm worried it won't be high enough and I REALLY don't want to retake A & P I. Good luck to you all

Anyone applying for El Centro in 2005
I live in Rowlett. It's really not a bad drive for me, but I'll still ride the bus because the parking is outrageous. It's not FREE. But they will give you a free bus/train pass if you're attending fulltime. I've heard alot of good things about the Northlake Campue, but unfortunately, alot of people don't care for El Centro, downtown. At this point, I'll have to take what I can get. It's hard enough just to get accepted.

Anyone applying for El Centro in 2005
I'm just finishing up my last pre-req for the ADN program and I was wondering if anyone else is applying for next year. I'm also considering the LVN program (just as a backup)- and then transitioning over to the Bridge program. Cheryl

Anyone In Dallas, Tx Work As A Cna
Hey LauraLou, Thanks for the reply. Sorry - I just have a couple or three more questions. Are you working at a hospital or nursing home? Also, what school are you attending? How was your first semester? Thanks again, Cheryl

Anyone In Dallas, Tx Work As A Cna
I was just wondering if there was anyone working as a CNA or PCT here in the Dallas area? What is the pay range? I've alreay checked salary.com, but would like to hear from others actually working in the area. I'm currently working as an accountant, but considering changing careers, while attending school. Just wondering what kind of a pay cut I'll have to take. Thanks. Cheryl
