Advice from those who passed first time
I found out today that my friend and I both passed on our first time! WOO HOO! Anyhow, we studied a lot during school and really made sure that we understood the material as we went through the program. 1 week before taking our boards we started studying with the Mosby's CD. We went through about 900 questions total. We read through the rationale's after each question and looked into disease processes that we were not familiar with or needed to brush up on. I recommend that you understand prioritizing, delegation, and teaching. Know your labs, it makes picking the right answer soooo much easier! Also if you are not comfortable doing dosages...start practicing now! I hope this info helps! Good luck!

People Who Passed Nclex: Please Post Study Book
I used Mosby's (the CD since NCLEX is on the computer) and went thru about 1000 questions total. I also studied A LOT during the nursing program. I made sure that I really understood the material which made studying for boards easier. If there was something in the question that I didn't understand then I looked into it further on the internet. Also, I have Saunder's and tried studying with that CD. I didn't like the questions though. After using Mosby's....Saunder's is easier questions and I didn't feel challenged. Mosby's asked questions that were similar to the actual NCLEX. BTW, I found out this AM that I passed :) I had 76 questions.

My friend and I just took NCLEX this am with 76?s
The computer stopped at 76 Questions for each of us and we both are very nervous. I had a lot of dosage calculations about 10-14 Questions, prioritizing, meds, and about 6-10 select all that apply:( All we can do now is just pray for the best for both of us. Did anyone ever have 76 Questions before and pass?
