Applying as a nurse in Norway, anyone else?
HI ...thanks for the info guys regarding Nursing in Norway. I have a question... Currently im studying norwegian language in a certain NORWEGIAN Language SCHOOL. 1. Will Norway give credits to the number of hours i've spend studying norwegian bokmal here in the philippines? 2. If somebody from Norway knows this... How is the availability of nursing jobs in norway? Are they really in need of nurses or caregivers? (its better to work as caregiver there than being a volunteer nurse here in the Philippines ) 3. I've heard about BERGENSTEST, it's like a norwegian language test which makes someone eligible to take the norwegian language class in norway for free... How true is this??? 4. What is the difference between Helsefagarbeider and Hjelpeleier??? Hope that somebody can shed light to my queries... Ha en god dag alle sammen! :):)

BSc Hons International Nursing in UK
Thanks.. yes it isn't a pre-regisration course to NMC. That what makes it doubtful, since i still have to take the ONP course and meet the requirements such as the 1 year RN experience in my home country... But if the degree is widely known across nursing institutions and hospitals in UK, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, then it would really be worth it. But there are little infos regarding this degree. And i'm yet to ask our Clinical Advisors and Administrators in my Alma Mater regarding this degree.

BSc Hons International Nursing in UK
BSc Hons International Nursing... a degree in UK the degree is alluring! BUT what makes it useless? Is this also offered at other universities in UK? is this recognized by Nursing and Midwifery council NCM in UK or in any other country such as USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand? Anyone can shed light into this Concern, it will be greatly appreciated as it could be one factor why many nurses are enticed to apply in the program of ISA 4U and other consultancy firm.

good day.. we just have attended an orientation of ISA yesterday October 1,2010 here in Midtown Hotel in Cebu and i was really got hooked to it. I even had discussed it with my mother and yields a good result. Furthermore, I even shared such great opportunity with my close friends and they got interested as well but warned me to try to do some research as they are so many deceiving agencies popping out this times; thus, it opted to do some research to discern if it is a bogus or fact and it brought me to this site. I have just read the news article-sept 24, 2010 published by inquirer.net. I wonder if their operations are still legal here in Philippines despite the outbreak of such incidence. The arrested staff, was even present during that Orientation (thick-skinned if ever!). If all accusations could have been true then thanks to CIDG-Anti-Transnational Crime Division. Now... the excitement has just fall six feet below the ground! and it really discourages me. I was so glad but in a split of a second, after reading the different views of people here and the occurrence of the published article, i am disappointed and sad that i have to remake my nursing career plans! So guys, do a little research if it excites u too much! Good thing i haven't laid any bread! if you fellow nurses have suggestions of other opportunities such as this and if it is clean then it is much appreciated. Thanks for the enlightenment. Thanks for the penlight hehehe ^^
