I also live in essex county nj and I have been waiting now for 11 days for my license number so, what i did was call the BON today and was able to obtain my license number...Then I redid my resume and I signed up with an agency in East Orange....Good luck!

I took my exam Friday Nov. 21st at 8am and I have been waiting...I am a nervous wreck constantly checking the website for my results but....I just recieved my results this morning at 9am (sunday)....OH My God...I PASSED!!!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD

Still did not recieve my results yet with quick results....I went up too 85 questions and started to freak out when the computer shut off..I had 1 math...3 sata...the rest were priority questions....I am going crazyyy:bugeyes:

I took my pn exam this morning at 8am....I took a few of deep breaths and decided to jump in....I am a nervous wreck:no: I feel like i have failed...I did study alot with saunders, hurst and Kaplan....Now I have to wait...This is dreadful!

This will be my first time taking the exam...I will be taken my exam on Nov 21st 2008 at 8am... I have been studying for the past few months and I am using saunders, Kaplan for strageties and hurst review which gives alot of insight about the NCLEX....We all can do this...It must be done...It can be done...

I am very, very proud of us all making it to this point...It can be done1...A classmate went to 205 questions which she did not study as much because of life situations but she passed with 205 questions...It shall be done!

I can understand how you are feeling...We were told towards the end of the nursing program that we were require to particpate in an assessment/predictor before we were able to sit for the state boards. When we started with the review ERI...I did very poorly on my first predictor...then, after the third try I finally got a 850. The school should not impose that in order to graduate is to pass the predictor however, this wasn't the case for us...Our educator gave us many chances because it would look good for the school and, she knows that we can do it....It should not be that a test is the only indicator which saids you can be a nurse. You must find what your weaknesses are which i did and, You should study a few hours a day. I am studying Lippincott, Saunders and Kaplan which will show you how to use strategies to answer questions. I know it is ssooo frustating but keep studying...You all can do it!!!

Hello Everyone, I want to thank you for the information. It was told in the beginning of the program that a exit exam will be administered to see where one's weaknesses but, now we are at the end preparing for the exit exam; the instructor now saids that we must pass the exit exam to graduate but, it is not stipulated in any papers or contract we have signed. THis is addressed to txnurstudent08:I think at times we become stressed and exhausted that sometimes we became annoyed. In my opinion if you made it this far that u must continued. just pray, get some rest and exercise when you take a break from studying.

Hi everyone, I am in my last semester in NS. I got a 55% on one of my exams and It really put me back that i felt sooo depression and i did not feel like studying but i got good tips. use saunders pn nclex. Also use kaplan pn examination book because it gives rationales and strategies for answer complex questions. It worked for me and it does not cost much. Most of the class isnt doing to good. but on my last exam i gotten a 80%. it put me back on the map. Everything will work out! try to get some rest and start fresh in the morning. :zzzzz

hi, I am in school for my lpn and i am having a hard time studying for med-surg. Can anyone give me some pointers on the best way to study all the material. I had an exam today and, i got a grade of 55. Nuro was very hard alot of material to gather and study. helllp!
