how much did it cost you including the taxes, terminal fees? what are other additional fees that is not included in the package? I really have no idea coz I haven't travel outside the country.... hope you can share some info...

I really want to visit HK, hopefully it will be my first trip outside the Phil....and I'm so excited about it...ofcourse I'll make sure I'll do good in my exam since that is the reason I'll go there in the first place....

I'm planning to take NCLEX in Hongkong on February2009...I got curious with PAL Swingaround Package for Hong Kong...inclusions of roundtrip airfare Manila-HK-Manila, 2 nights hotel accommodation, transfers, and half-day tour....anyone here who had tried this package? I emailed my resume and application letter to SLMC-GC HR.... the reply was that they're coming (the SLMC-GC HR team) in my hometown ILIGAN CITY this September 22-23, 2008 in MSU-IIT to hire nurses:eek:.... maybe because of the June 2008 result, wherein we got 4 topnotchers here...

i reviewed with them SLRC-CDO from august-november 2007, passed the december 2007 NLE with board rating of 82.20%..... but still it depends on how you make an effort to study, listen to lectures, patiently answer practice questions, etc...... if i'm not satisfied with the rationales i would look for answers in books, internet...:typing dont forget to unwind, relax, enjoy and have fun with your review! its a learning experience....

My surname starts with A, still no sign of our license from the Cagayan de Oro PRC..... I took the DECEMBER 2007 NLE....

Vermont had updated the application forms for Foreign Nurses, just visit their website...they now require a copy of passport, the form now has 7 pages...effective on March 27, 2008...

I saw Vermont BON website, they had updated the application form for foreign applicants!!!!! effective on march 27, 2008...

thanks rafaeltoney!!! I still can't believe that I passed... I've read that the oath taking will be on March 17 or 18, 2008, does it only apply in Manila? I've tried opening the PRC Website since yesterday but I can't get through...

thanx lenjoy and rafaeltoney... I'm residing in Mindanao, and I've read that it would take 3 months before the release of hard license outside Manila... My concern is, what can I use as a proof that I passed the exam? I want to apply immediately in a hospital here... Also, I'm planning to apply for licensure in Vermont, I have asked someone there about the license requirement, and they said that I can give them a copy of the license or board passing letter...is this something that is given to the passers by the PRC or I have to personally ask for it? sorry I have so many questions, I really have no idea.. I'm planning to go to PRC-Cagayan de Oro this Monday, I don't want to look stupid wandering in every window, I'm also expecting there'll be a lot of people there next week...

helo everyone...i'm a fresh graduate, i took nle dec.2007, unfortunately we're still waiting for the results so i don't know what's my next step... i'm planning to apply in vermont, i emailed them if i can apply now but they said i have to wait for the results of the local exam... and nm has new requirements, guess i'll have to go for vermont... so as not to waste my time, i'm reviewing on my own, i bought saunders compre review 4th ed...

thanx suzzane4...I was planning to apply in NM for my initial licensure, but now that it has new requirements, I think I'm going for Vermont...I'm planning to work in CA, but I have read some threads here so I changed my mind in applying there for initial licensure...

now I'm thinking of applying in Vermont instead...

I'm confused...so I have to send my TOR, RLE to a qualified credentialing agency, for example the CGFNS/CES....and it would cost like $328 and wait for 6-8 weeks...before I can apply to New Mexico? :thnkg:

Good morning..I'm a new member here..I had been reading this site for quite sometime now...I find this site very useful as I'm planning to apply licensure in NM...I have some questions though, I hope someone would be kind enough to reply... I have read in some threads that NM licensure renewal needs SSN, what happens to the license if the nurse fails to renew? Retrogression is present here in th Philippines, so I'm expecting that if I pass NCLEX and IELTS, then apply for VisaScreen Certificate, be petitioned, then apply for green card now, my papers for immigration will be processed in year 2013 or 2014... and NM license expires every 2 years... What happens if the my papers for immigration will be processed in year 2013 and I don't have an active license in NM?
