NCLEX-PN just taken
i was told today that for the nclex pn, the first 25 questions are the ones that don't count against your score, and those first 25 are the ones that are supposed to place you on whether you passed or not... can you explain about the 25 "try out" questions please?

NCLEX PN: I don't know what to do anymore
i just took the nclex pn two days ago.. unfortunately in california we don't get quick results.. i stopped at 85 and i am very positive i failed. i guessed on more than half of the questions, and i don't know.. i just know i didn't pass.. i got two repeated questions and i heard that if you get some questions repeated, then you're failing the exam? i got a couple toward the end. i also didn't get any calculations. does that have anything to do with failing to?? soo soo scared

Took NCLEX today..stopped at 85 questions. Does this mean I failed?
can someone please answer my question.. i took my nclex pn yesterday... i don't think i passed... i stopped at 85 questions..i guessed on more than half of my exam, and i got a bunch of the "easy" questions.. does that mean i answered a bunch of questions wrong b/c i got waay too many easy questions? also, i didn't get a single math question.. does that also mean that the computer already knew i was failing therefore it didn't give me the math calculation?!??! someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Waiting for your results come in here
good luck! let us know how u did! i'm sooo soo scared.. honestly i believe that i FAILED and big time.. they say if u fail with the minimum, it means u must have done really bad... and i stopped at the minimum 85 questions... i know i already got 3 questions wrong and i'm sure b/c i looked them up, and i know i got more wrong than that!!! it's as if my test went from easy, hard, easy, hard.. and i just feel so horrible...

Nclex-pn
what do u mean that the level at which we are answering questions decides on our fate? i took the nclex pn yesterday and it seemed as if i got a lot of "easy" questions and i was told that when you answer a question wrong the computer gives u an easier question, and if you answer right then it gives you a harder "higher level" question. truth is, i do not feel as if i passed this exam at all. i shut off at 85, and it took me a little bit less than 2 hours to take it. i don't feel i got too many of those higher level questions and it seemed like i got a bunch of select all that apply. i didn't get any calculations, which is also making me think that i wasn't passing anyway therefore the computer never even gave me a calculation or fill in the blank... i'm sooo stunned and i feel so sad.

Waiting for your results come in here
i can't figure out how to start a new thread... but i just wanted to say.. i took the nclex pn yesterday.. stopped at 85 questions and i took it in less than 2 hours... i can honestly say that deep down inside me i feel that i failed. i know it's said to be a defense mechanism everyone pretty much goes through, but i was there sitting in front of that computer you know and it just seemed so easy sometimes that i knew i was getting those "easy" lower level questions, so i figured i was getting a bunch of questions wrong. sometimes i felt that when 2 answers were appropriate to choose, even if i tried applying the ABC's, MASLOW'S, or SAFETY and COST EFFECTIVENESS, it just didn't seem right anyway. i was still torn between the two, so i ended up just guessing... i feel like i guessed on pretty much more than half of my exam. I didn't get a single calculation, no fill in the blanks, 1 drop down (the one u have to put in order), and like 25 SELECT ALL THAT APPLY! i feel so soo soo horrible right now, and I just know it... i think i failed... i can't believe California doesn't give quick results...
