Those second nursing courses that u are talking about are not really nursing courses. They are pharmacology which mostly involves calculation of drugs that u will take from second semester.

I was off waiting list about two weeks ago. I orginally applied for fall 09 and was given a seat in spring 2010 at NCC but the driving distance worried me alot about an hour one way from where I live.

I live in Meriden few minutes from wallingford and hartford which is the capital. Besides, it's two hrs from New york and Boston!
