  1. Our final exam is next week. How is the final? I'm a little nervous about it. I still get a little test anxiety.
  2. Yeah, I bought all the books at the school since I was using fin. aid as well. I did purchase the required items from SNA. Tomorrow is our 2nd exam...Nutrition, Fluid & Elect. I hear this one is the hardest. Friday is our second pharm test. I am feeling what you said about the part-time students! Thanks for the reply. I hope Nursing 2 is going good for you.
  3. Pinkster, Hello! The semester is almost over! How did it go? Question about books...did you wait until after the orientation meeting to purchase books? Did you get them all at once? Thank you!
  4. Thank you...I'll look into the scholarships. I'll need all the help I can get since I'll be leaving my job to focus on school.
  5. Thank you...that is good to know. Congratulations to you on almost completing the program! I was accepted last year, but I was afraid to go since it was a new program. I'll be starting CFCC's program this spring.
  6. Not sure if you would know, but was it easy for these grads to find jobs?
  7. You can go to CFCC's website and look under schedules then click nursing calendars to view the schedules. That should give you an idea.
  8. Is it possible to work a full time job and PRN on your days off? Does anyone have more than one job?
  9. Wow, thank you for the information! I just printed out my nursing schedule for next semester. I am also in the process of completing my online orientation. I work full-time now (I won't be once I start nursing school) so I will have to adjust from being a full-time employee to a full-time student. I am really looking foward to it and I'm sure all of the hard work will be worth it.
  10. I noticed before registration period there was a Saturday option for AP2, but it was taken off. I registered for an evening class in Ocala. It is with the same instuctor I have now. I am happy with her teaching though. How hard is it to take coreqs. with nursing courses? Any advice?
  11. Oh, that would be great. Did you finish all your pre-reqs? I still have 2 more co-reqs. to complete. Congratulations on your LPN acceptance!
  12. I recently received my acceptance letter to the RN program.
  13. Did you like the instructors there? I am currently taking AP1 at the Ocala campus. Oh, I received my acceptance letter for the Jan. 2009 program!!
  14. Pinkster, Hello again! Did you take your A&P classes at the Ocala or Lecanto campus?
  15. Pinkster...how is your first week going?
  16. Yes, I know what you mean. I wrote my draft and I think it might be too long.
  17. Yeah, that is great though. I am also working on my essay...did you have any trouble with it?
  18. Oh, wow...thank you! I have 2 more pre-reqs. I plan to apply after this semester. How long did it take you to get in?
  19. Get the study guide if you haven't already...the math is exactly the same. For the reading, it is a little more difficult because you only have about 30 minutes to complete 25-30 questions. The questions are mostly critical thinking. Make sure you stay calm. Test anxiety is a pain!
  20. I took it last year...just make sure to study a lot for the reading section. The math is not hard at all. You'll do fine. I'll need to retake it though since you need to take it within 6 months prior to starting the program. I might take it next week or the week after. Good luck and maybe I'll see you there!
  21. Hello! It is nice to meet someone applying at CFCC...I also plan on turning in my application on August 1st. Is there really a line at the office? What time do they open? Also, did you get to take the NET yet?
  22. When will you be ready to apply? They did away with the waiting list, right?
  23. Hello! I would like to meet other Central FL Community College nursing students. I am currently taking my prereqs. and I wanted to know more about their program.
