  1. Still waiting for the day ambulances start to divert to a county hospital based on no insurance, with a non-critical patient. Or better yet transports from a private based hospital to county hospitals for admissions for patients w/o insurance.
  2. Just out of curiosity what didn't you like about working in the hospital? I am also a junky for varity and new challenges. I have chosen critical care medicine for my specialty, specifically because of this purpose. Also you might want to look into emergency nursing. What are your interests? What made you get you into nursing, I mean what made it interesting to you to start the lvn program. Maybe you can talk to your director of nursing and explore different units of the hospital. Todd
  3. "Neonatal Resuscitation Program" & "Pediatric Advanced Life Support"
  4. Are lvn's able to take the ACLS, PALS, NRP certs???? What about TNCC? I want to eventually do peds, but after school I wanna get some additional certifications beyond regular nursing school. I enjoy planning ahead after school and want to know which certifications lvn's are able to obtain. If anyone took these courses how hard were they? I used to be an emt-I and took a pals pre test and got an 80%. Todd
