  3. I, officially, begin on Nov. 2nd as a pedi RN on a peds med-surg unit. I am so excited, as I have always wanted to work with pediatric patients, but I am also sooooo nervous. I am a new grad and really want to do well. There is so much to learn. Anyone out there willing to share some tips or advice with me? I would be so thankful.
  4. great!!!! good luck to you:yeah:
  5. Thanks everyone. I have looked on the BON site for the state that I would like to have my license endorsed into, but still alittle confusing. I think I will just call and talk to someone in person. That way I can ask the specific questions that I have. Again---thanks.
  6. This may have already been answered before, but I cant find it anywhere, so I am going to ask. I am a new grad, tested on Sept. 1, passed NCLEX, am now licensed in one state----but am pretty sure I have a position lined up in another state. My question is how do I go about getting endorsement without having worked any under my new license??? I know that some states want you to either have worked or take some kind of class. I just graduated in August; I dont feel like I need to take this course nor do I have the funds really. Is there something that I am missing?? Help me out here please. I really need to move things along quickly or I will not get the position. Thanks to all who can help me out.
  7. Sorry guys, I havent been on in a couple of days. I have been ACTIVELY doing the job hunt thing. Hoping my hard work pays off very SOON. Congratulations to all the new RNs and LPNs. Doesnt it feel great that all the studying and sacrifices are finally paying off???? I am loving it.:prdnrs::heartbeat

  10. Congratulations to eveyone so far. I am hoping I can find out my test results tomorrow. My state doesnt do the quick results either, but supposed to have listings within 48 hours. I am soooo excited and scared at the same time. I am still keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers. Keep up the great work, we are all so close to being able to put RN behind our names!!!!!
  11. Hi guys. Well I took my NCLEX this morning. Wow, what a test. Can you believe I had no calculations at all!!!!?????? Lots and lots of meds though. Finished at 75 Qs. Just tried to do the pearsonvue trick and I get the good pop-up. Just keeping my fingers crossed, not trusting til I see my name on BON. Good luck to all those testing tomorrow and this month.
  12. I also test tomorrow at 11:30am. I just couldnt resist and did some more Qs early this morning, but I didnt do anymore after 11am today. I am super nervous but I know that we all can do this!! Goodluck to everyone.

  14. Thanks so much for the encouragement, everyone. aleena23, just try to stay focused and remember one day at a time. In my LAST semester of nursing school, I had several unexpected, horrific things happen in my life. I didnt want to continue studying or anything, but I knew that in the end that would be the best for my family and the situation. YOU CAN DO THIS.

I am studying again today just to keep trying to catch something maybe I have forgot about!!! But I am really starting to get nervous. Any suggestions what I can do tomorrow to keep my mind off of this? Even though I think that is going to be impossible. Goodluck to all who are testing soon. I will keep you all in my prayers. Well let me get back to my Qs.:typing
