  1. Wow! Good for you! 75 questions is the minimum you can take and pass. You did very well!
  2. Be careful on how long you wait to take the NCLEX. There are differences and each state law set limits before fingerprinting or the application expires. The question should be, what does the state say is the limit? Then it is important to know that the sooner you test after graduation, the more chance you have of passing.
  3. The time between classes is a busy one for faculty and Program Directors. Do not take the Director's approach personally. Work hard and hold high standards for yourself and you will do well! Good luck!
  4. To find out if any college is NLN accredited go to the NLNAC web site and click on the left side bar regarding NLN accredited colleges, or try this site http://www.nlnac.org/Forms/directory_search.htm
  5. Try checking your local Community College by calling the Nursing Program. They will often have courses or certification available for a reasonable cost.
  6. Students who are hard of hearing CAN be nurses! I have had students with two hearing aids do very well. First, try googling on stethoscopes, then go to the bottom of the page and type in hard of hearing, and you will get lots of info on stethocopes for those who are hard of hearing. The next and most important thing, if you have not done so yet, is to see your Disabilities/ Learning Accommodations office at your school. Check for the listing in your student handbook or on your class syllabi. If it is not listed either of those places ( it should be) then see any student services counselor for assistance. You have rights to reasonable accommodation, and these folks will help you! You will need to bring in documentation from your doctor, but I do know "hard of hearing" is eligible for accommodation, including amplified phones and other devises. Best of luck in your Nursing career!
