  1. EWW- I am taking my lab quiz today on tissues - wish me luck. I have really found out I get Simple Squamous when studing A&P :) I am pulling a C right now, and study constantly. I do the note cards and write, write, write reorganizing my notes. still just plan out hard. I am pulling a F/T summer semester, which I am wondering if was a mistake with A&P...Any study memorization tips would help for me as well, although I have realized A&P is more than memorization to pull past a C, because they quiz for understanding and not knowledge....good luck all, I feel the pain!
  2. Horrible!! Have my lab exam on Monday for tissues, bombed on the 1st lecture exam...and really dont know how. studied all the material I could possibly find, took every pre-test available. The only thing I can figure out, is the exams where made different than what I am used to. You have to first figure out what in the world they are asking for and scanario it in such a way, if you get it, you got it. Did ok on the 1st lab exam - whoo whoo...yeah, sorry...guess I need to go study some tissues, just looking for answers on how in the world to pass this one. Good luck everyone, Some of us really need it
  3. Thank you so much for the encouragement.
  4. I am doing same this term, A&P I, combined. Next term will be A&P II. Same prof. twice a week for four hours each class (2 lec/2 lab). Today was my first class...I am still trying to figure out if it was my professors knowledge of overly huge medical terms that I couldnt understand or if it was his too hip lingo...anyways, good luck me, cause I really think i'm going to need it. Now to go study what I should have caught on to after four hours in class
  5. I am taking A&P 1, MAT101 and PSY201 this Summer. I took Eng Comp 2 last semester and had major essays that took up conciderable amounts of my time - I personally dont recommend it for summer WITH A&P (from what I hear on A&P anyway). But then again, you may be alot better on them essays than I was...walked away with a "C", my very first one. I was quite upset I tell ya!! (also mother of a minor leage baseball player that has meets three times a week for two hours and game that last two or three hours once or twice a week, along with a teenage daughter - Hummm....maybe it was me and not the class?? naw, I say it was the class...)
  6. My Summer 08': A&P I Mat 101 Psy 201
  7. Ditto on the crazyness. Taking A&P I, Psych 101 and Mat101, all full summer classes. Start May 19th! This is what I needed to finish up by fall. Trying my hardest to get on the list. Midlands Tech student here. Count me in for the group - Lord knows i'll need it!! GLE
  8. I am a little scared going in, but I know I can do this. I have, thank God, a wonderful husband who is working for the both of us right now so I can go full time and still be the mother to two kids. I have heard Midlands produces some good nurses and so far have had nothing but good experiences with them myself.
  9. MTC here as well. I am in my second semester of Pre-Nursing to roll into my ADN. Such a long way to go. GL with the summer programs; I will be watching thread for any and all suggestions :)
