  1. Hi - I'm a still a little confused about this whole process. I had what I thought was a screening interview at Harbor yesterday. The nurse recruiter told me that I needed to call each month to see if there was anything I could interview for. What do you mean by if you pass the initial interview, you will get a letter? She didn't mention anything to me about a letter. This whole thing is so confusing. Thanks. :)
  2. Thank you, ChineseLantern for sharing that information!! I guess I won't give up the hope yet. :)
  3. Thanks, you guys for giving us the low down. :) "A crowded factory"....hmmm, kinda glad I have an interview somewhere else. I'm not too disappointed now that they haven't called me. I believe all things happen for a reason and we will all end up where we are supposed to be. :)
  4. patientRN - congrats! When is your interview date?
  5. They weren't rude exactly, just curt. She sounded irritated. This was last Monday and all she said was that they weren't finished making calls. I wish she could have told me more.
  6. I called and they were very curt. I'm definitely not calling again. I put psych down as my #3. Again, if they call, that'd be awesome, but I'm burned out on waiting for the phone to ring! :)
  7. Awww thanks. I'm tired of thinking about it. It'd be nice to get a call for psych but I'm not holding my breath. I don't understand their process at all - they call people who haven't even graduated yet or taken the NCLEX. Not to pat my own back, but I graduated with honors, have additional certificates, have awesome recommendation letters/references, etc. and no call. :) I'm very happy for those that have gotten calls and wish them the best of luck. But I'm tired of waiting for the call. :)
  8. I also applied for Psych. No call. Congrats to you!
  9. Did you just get the call? Congrats!
  10. Thank you! I know 5 ADN's that I went to school with were hired previously, but I thought maybe they changed it this time and decided to go with all BSNs. I applied to L&D, ER and Psych. This waiting is so hard!
  11. Thank you for letting me know, NewGradRN_Rose. I was starting to worry that they weren't considering ADNs. Keeping my fingers crossed that my phone rings!
  12. Congrats!! Are all of you BSN? Are they interviewing any ADN's?
  13. That's awesome, Joe! Congrats!!
  14. Yay!! Congrats to you!!
  15. Okay I just called. All she said was they are not changing any statuses and if we don't hear from them by December 4 then we won't hear from them. She said that's all she could say.
  16. Majesticred - what unit are you interviewing for? Are you BSN? Congrats!
  17. Are they vague about it? Or do they tell you what is going on with your application? Do they just say "We are still making calls?" I guess I will call tomorrow.
  18. And they actually tell you something?
  19. They don't mind if we call to check?
  20. Thank you! I'm ADN - wonder if they are calling any...
  21. Lucky!! Congrats!! Keeping my phone close. Can I ask if you are BSN or ADN?
  22. I also applied to ER. Nothing yet.
