A&P Transfer Credits
Just to let you know, you do have a couple of options. If you were looking at an online class that has filled up, you could contact the instructor to get special permission to add over and beyond the limited number of students. Secondly, if you watch, there will more than likely be a few students to drop the class within the first week. Hope this helps. I do not know if the credits for online A&P will transfer and agree that to call the school you are applying to would be the best advice. Good Luck...

Minneapolis School of Anesthesia
I received a call the week before Christmas and the earliest I was able to schedule the interview with the dates they gave me was Jan 23 and I was asked to choose between 9am or 1pm, so I'm wondering if only 2 interview a day??? I wonder when they started interviewing. They told me they interview between 75-100...I also heard the interview is laid back with the same format as years past, whatever that means. My last letter of recommendation still wasn't in by Thanksgiving when I applied early, which was the hold up in my application being complete. Good luck to everyone...

Minneapolis School of Anesthesia
Can you tell me what to expect if I do get accepted? I heard that class is from 9-4pm with SAT/SUN off until clinicals start in November. Is there time and are you able to work an occasional shift or is best to just not? When do you start to take call and when you do, do you get time off during the week or not? Do you feel you get enough money in loans for school? Any information would be appreciated. Any idea how many people interview? thanks in advance....

What Is Your Most Gross, Yucky, Disgusting Nursing Horror Story?
These stories are hillarious! Only a nurse would laugh at this disgusting stuff... My most disgusting story is when I was working in ER,well, there's more than one, but here goes. It was near the end of my shift with only a couple minutes before I could punch out. A patient was coming y ambulance that would've been my patient, so I said I'd help settle him. BAD IDEA!!!! She was an older womn, her husband had been taking care of her at home for daaayyyyys. She smelled so bad, so unkempt...her husband had been using paper bags to keep the moisture off her body!!! The true test was turning her to get these paper bags out from underneath her. I don't think I can describe completely how horrible it was.... there were maggots everywhere from top to bottom... I turned several shades of color and the ambulance service had to bring me a chair to sit down. we found out shortly thereafter that she had lice too....nice. Makes my skin crawl!!!!!

Minneapolis School of Anesthesia
I am interviewing at MSA at the end of January....don't know what to expect, just found this site while I was trying to figure it out. Have you applied to the program before? If you have, what was your experience? I have wanted to apply for several years now and am finally ready to get in and move on in my career. I hope it doesn't take 3-4 yrs to get in as I have heard from others applying in my area. Have you applied at other schools around the country or just MSP area? I'm willing and able to go anywhere, but only applied to 2 schools so far. Let me know what you're able...

Crna School Interview Help?
Is there anyone out there who has interviewed or will be interviewing at Minneapolis School of Anesth? I have my interview at the end of January. I've been a nurse for 15 yrs, worked SICU for 8 yrs and have also been a clinical instructor. BUT, I'm really nervous about the clinical questions. I work in a mostly open heart/thoracic unit, but to be drilled on your knowledge, now that's intimidating. I never thought about studying for an interview before!!! Any more advice is appreciated...
