  1. You can enter your second name in the OTHER GIVEN NAMES tab for AFP check. Never do it without a space like what you're planning to do.
  2. Hello! I will be on ACN Burwood NSW June intake! Anyone here on the same boat as mine?
  3. Here's my AHPRA processing timeline: June 18 - sent AGOS-40 with all its attachments June 20 - AHPRA's notification that they received my application already June 24 - tracked receipt of my IQNM requirement from CHED (still can't trace my IQNM requirement from school) Aug 20 - received an email from AHPRA that I need to complete IQNM 2,3,8 and I replied to their email, confirming if they had already received my documents from school and from CHED. Aug 26 - RO replied: I can confirm that confirmation for the accreditation of the program of study was received by AHPRA on 24 June 2014 Please be advised that the following information is required: - Evidence sent directly to AHPRA by the external accreditation authority confirming that the education institution was externally accredited at the time that you undertook your program of study - Certification from your education institution, provided directly to AHPRA, that you successfully completed your course of study which covered medication management including drug calculation, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics They sent me a PDF file with a new format of the instructions to the educational institution and to the regulatory agency for nursing/midwifery which now requires an attached documentary evidence of professional accreditation approval. I went to my school and called CHED, but this seems to be new to both of them. Anyone in the same boat as mine?
  4. hi there @Mattskiematt! Did you make it clear to them what kind of accreditation they were telling you about? It may not yet be accredited by PAASCU or other accreditation bodies, but your Nursing School would not get to operate for several years already if it is not accredited by CHED. There a lot of posts in this thread regarding your query. I advise that you take your time to read the posts. Hope this works! :) Best of luck to all of us here!
  5. Hello guys! Do you have any idea if this would just work out fine: I submitted my Certificate of Good Standing from PRC 2 days ago thru DHL and I have tracked that it was already received in AHPRA NSW. I haven't submitted my AGOS-40 and attachments yet since I'm still waiting for some documents that I need before having everything notarized. I could submit them probably by next week. I'm also currently working on my CHED requirement (Program of Study), which I could be getting anytime this week and I plan to send it right after claiming. It would probably come before I submit my AGOS-40 + attachments! LOL
  6. to all who are interested in applying in Asian Hospital: I'm not sure if they are still accepting requirements as of the moment. I passed my complete requirements last January of this year, and was just called up for an exam on July 5, 2010. Exam was scheduled July 8. If you have questions, it would be better it would be much better if you will personally inquire at the Information section of the hospital.
  7. hi Ms. Zee! we both had the same dates for the initial exam! but i did not have the retake, just my friend did. we're also both for interview on July 26! goodluck to all of us! i think the application now in Asian Hospital is quite faster than before. :) God bless us!
  8. i passed my requirements last january 2010 and got a call for an exam on the first week of july. they sent me an sms telling that i passed the exam. i will be on my initial interview this week. any tips? how long should i be waiting for the next interview? :)
  9. i would just like to clarify something about the police clearance...from where should i request it? should it be from the city where i currently reside in, or from QC where capitol medical center is located? (I am not residing in QC) thanks!
  10. do we need to submit these requirements all at once? if not, which among these should be passed on the initial passing of the requirements? thanks a lot, especially to independent_chic! this will surely be a big help!
  11. hello everyone! i would just like to know the complete set of requirements in applying as a staff nurse in capitol medical center. i would also like to try passing my credentials there. thanks a lot! God bless us all in our applications!
  12. wow! it was really great to hear from you again! keep posting and sharing your thoughts in this site. it has been really helpful to every nurse like us, which is why i enjoy browsing through this site every now & then. congratulations for passing in the preliminary exams! im so happy for you! i know you worked hard for it as much as i did but i think it was just not meant for me this time. another factor that i can see is that, there are a lot of applicants in asian hospital who already have working experiences, which i still do not have, giving them, including you an edge among the others. im also interested in applying in capitol medical center. i'm very much willing to hear about it from you again. congratulations once again!
  13. i just received a text message this afternoon from the Asian Hospital recruitment. i didn't pass the preliminary screening.. maybe i would just reapply after several months.. i hope you passed! :) Good luck!
  14. yes independent chiq! im very much willing to post updates in this thread about my application in asian hospital. i had my skill validation last tuesday. maybe we even had the same exam date as i took mine on a saturday, september 27 to be exact. small world indeed! hope we could both pass...:lttang:
  15. It's nice to meet someone like you here. Well, we'll probably get called up soon for our technical interview. The least we could do for now is to browse through our notes and study. Goodluck to both of us, and also to those who are in the same boat as ours. Hope we can make it through! I'll be praying for us too.
  16. congratulations! very well done! i do hope we could also get in.
  17. oops! im so sorry, i was wrong with my last statement. itook the IQ test September 15 and had my initial interview the following day, September 16.
  18. i too had my written exam about two weeks ago & had my skills validation last week. they still haven't texted or called me up for the result up until now though. as far as i can remember, the proctor said that we would wait for their text because they do not entertain phone calls to follow up for the results.
  19. I also had my initial interview last September 15!!! i check my emails daily, keep my cellphones on at all times & stay at home in case they might call, but unfortunately, they still haven't contacted me in any way well, glad to hear that I met someone here whom i bumped with during the initial interview most probably.
  20. Good thing pinkroyalty18 posted this thread. I also experience the same dilemma. I too am an nclex passer & i think having this USRN license would really not let me land on a job as a staff nurse here in the Philippines. These hospitals really think that we would just make them as a stepping stone. I find it so unfair though since i really do not have plans of going out of the country just yet as i have not even started a single step for visa application, which as we all know would really take years...years, that would even exceed the contract that we would be signin in with these hospitals.
  21. From what place are you? As far as I know, you should personally submit your resume. Aside from the fact that you could be familiarized with the place, personally applying would also give a good impression of you as an applicant and because there are things that you need to comply with personally. I passed my application for SLMC-GC last week, then I was asked to return at 2pm for the IQ test..it was after lunch then. After the said exam while still inside the room, we waited for few minutes while filling up the application form that was given to us. Then one of the HR's announced some names, i think four of us, and asked us to remain while the others were told that they could reapply after 6 months. The following day was already my initial interview. Afterwhich, we were asked to wait for a maximum of two months for the technical interview if ever we would pass the initial interview.
  22. hi ghandaraRN! i just would like to ask how you knew that you passed the initial interview. i was also interviewed a week ago (initial interview), a day after i took the exam (IQ test) and the HR said that we should still wait for a call, text message, or email if ever we would pass the initial interview for the schedule of our panel interview for a maximum of 2 months... so i guess there would be no guarantee that we passed the initial interview. it's really bothering me if i made it or not... your reply would be highly appreciated!
  23. i took the NLE last june 2007 & i scored 78.2%..oohhh..quite low actually. Test I - 80 Test II- 79 Test III-78 Test IV-78 Test V -76 i passed NCLEX at 265 on my first take last May 2008. i agree with all the other members who replied in this thread for i also had separate preparations for each exam, but basic nursing knowledge and principles should really be mastered except for some particular topics that are way different from each exam.
  24. i totally agree with you.. i too was interviewed just recently for the initial interview. i also don't know what to expect...or should i still expect a call or text or even email from them..
