Someone else correct me if i'm wrong here. I looked into the mailorder RN programs also before applying locally. Californias stance as of 2 years ago was they will no longer accept ANY mailorder RN programs. Their reasoning is that they are unable to rely on any consistancy between the differant programs and are unable to really on the amount of actual clinical experience each student recieves. But most ADN programs im aware of will let you jump into the 3rd semester of the ADN program if you have completed all the pre-req's for said course Corky

My program required a 5 unit Anatomy w/lab, 5unit physio w/lab, 5 unit micro w/lab, +chem as a pre-req to micro, plus all the usual English 1a, psych 1, Algebra, soc 1, humanities and something else I'm forgetting aha speech

Hi just a heads up, the Governator has finally approved the paramedic - Rn bridge. check out the Bay Area Community College Consortium for more info. Im guessing same pre-req's and last 2 semesters only of the program similiar to the LVN - Rn upgrade
