thanks for the reply, melinurse. so the first day labs, we do it to the dummies and the second day, do we actually have to inject patients if required. like IV meds or IM,SQ meds or enteral feeedings.

someone please explain this exam for me:confused:. I know its a 3 day exam, but what do each day consists of. is day 1 labs, if so do we do it on a dummy. and what about day 2 and 3. please explain how many labs we need to do, how many patients do we see,etc. thank you.

thanks lunah and NC girl35. Lunah, how was the test. Do they tell u if u passed the exam right there. Did u take any workshop. which is the best workshop to take. I think there are atleast three out there including excelsior. Please tell me all the resources needed for preparation for this test, like flash cards, cd roms, vids etc. all i have right now is the lisa arends cpne cd. This exam is really making me restless and nervous and nauseous and iam SCARED.

i did not know about the physical exam and now i have an appointment on july 10, and i dont know how long they are going to take for the the titer results. I am on a blue card with the local county hospital, its cheapest version of health insurance. I wanted to pay out of my pocket but since there is lab work involved, i dont want to take a chance with the bill they are going to hit me with. any suggestions. I am done with all exams except english and fcca, which they dont even offer yet. I guess I can start preparing for CPNE and put myself on cancellation list, once iam eligible. do anyone have an idea, how long does excelsior take to process an application and give a date for cpne exam.

1) can i take CLEP exams- English composition without essay to fulfill written english requirement for excelsior and Human growth & development exam to fulfill lifespan and developmental psychology exam of excelsior. 2) what is the best workshop for CPNE and how much do they cost. does fundamentals of nursing by kozier has all the material for the excelsior exams? or do we need additional text books. and the study guides you mentioned are studygroup101 material right or are there additional study guides. and finally where do we study from for the new fcca exam.

NC girl 35- which study guide is better lisa arends cd or studygroup 101.

I just completed my practice exam- form A on the EC website. Is 62 a bad score:o. Please let me know. by the way its Health safety exam.

thanks for the replies. but my question was about study guides. people were buying study guides like lisa arned's notes,etc. from ebay for NC 1-7 exams. do new students have no choice but to stick with the recommended text books.
