But there is a Tier 1 Post Study UK Visa which allowing one to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years after obtaining a UK degree or above qualification.

I am from Cavite. I graduated from UPCN. I worked as an OJT nurse in Cavite Naval Hospital and just applied as a staff nurse in KSA. In the future, I plan to take up MSc in Clinical Nursing in University of Liverpool and eventually work in the UK to be with my boyfriend. :)

I did try apply at ISA 4U last november 2008, but when I found out about the amount of money needed for the processing, I backed out! Firstly, because I can't produce such amount so I need to loan. But the problem is that I know I wouldn't be able to pay for it even after 2 years of working there because of the high cost of living. Secondly, it's not an assurance that I can apply for a poststudy visa and what more to get ONP and work permit there as a nurse. I guess it's not good for RNs/BSNs because this won't be counted as nurse experience.

Working 40 hours a week is just right for me :)

After graduation I worked as a medical editor and enjoyed my job so my nursing profession was put aside. But after sometime, I wasn't happy with my desk job anymore. I think I can do more than sitting at the computer editing stuff. So I finally decided to be a nurse.

*Sigh* The newly licensed nurses are having a hard time to get employed as a staff nurse what more if you graduated 3 years ago and have no beside nursing experience like me. Anyway, I hope we get hired before the release of the June 2008 NLE passers.
