  1. In what order are the senses loss or shutdown during the death process of terminally ill patients? Or of patients dying slowly etc... Example: sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing/ I'm reading about this and have been taught that the hearing is last. But in what order do the other four senses fall.
  2. In Maryland only a MD can sign a death cert. A nurse can write info in the patients chart expired time ect... But a doctor must sign the death cert. In the case according to my understanding the attending should have signed the cert. hospice or not.
  3. Just as others have said take a deep breath. It will get better if this is in your heart don't let any so called demons ect... stand in your way. You must believe in yourself no matter the issues. I believe you can succeed, now chin up and go for it....:rotfl:
  4. Yes, sorry I was in a hurry when typing this.
  5. :redpinkheLike the previous response, don't give up. Your trouble may be you just haven't found the right area of nursing for you. I come from a family of nurses and they all say you must find the area that best works for your personality. Go online and look for some nursing agencies in your area thay may be able to give you some options.:w00t:
  6. ;)I was doing a little research on pre-delivery DOULA's. Can I get a little insight on this. My passion is working with and helping babies. I may get Doula certification just for the experience. My goal however is to work with babies with terminal illnesses or to work in the NICU.
  7. I love this sight also, very informational and addictive.
  8. This advice was very encouraging for me, as I am a nursing student. I worked in the business field for years until I found my true calling.:heartbeat
