  2. Hey IN SCHOOL..........u were so right.I have applied at 10 different places but no response at all.i never thought it would be so difficult to find a job after studying for 4 yrs at the nursing school and after getting through the nclex rn.maybe because i am a new graduate but i am really frustrated. If anyone can give me some guidance as to what to do or if any of you guys know of any openings at any of the hospitals near bloomingdale/addison area, it would have been helpful.

I USED BOTH SAUNDERS AND KAPLAN AND FOUND THAT NCLEX QUESTIONS ARE SIMILAR TO THE KAPLAN Q TRAINERS.INFACT I GOT 3 QUESTIONS WHICH WERE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE KAPLAN QUESTIONS.HARDWORK AND PRAYERS DID WONDERS FOR ME. ALL THE BEST TO EVEYONE WHO ARE GONNA TAKE THE TEST AND THANKS TO EVERYONE IN THIS FORUM FOR ALL THE SUPPORT
  7. :balloons:congrats emnicams i have some hope now.12 more hours to go for my results.what i am scared is that the test was not as difficult as i expected it to be and it shut down at 75.keeping my fingers crossed.
  8. hey emnicamn i am also in the same boat as u.i just took the rn today and stopped at 75 with 4 math calcuations and around 5-6 select all that apply and lot of med surg questions.i am completely freaked out.i will have to wait till sunday for my results.lets hope for the best and keep praying.
  9. :innerconfhey everyone ,i am scheduled to take the mighty nclex rn on 25th january i.e. exactly a week from now.i have been working hard for the past 1 month but no matter how much i prepare or study i just dont feel its enough.its like an ocean of information and facts out there.i finished with saunders and am doing the kaplan question trainers now .done 4 q trainers till now and my scores are trainer1-61% trainer2-63% trainer3-65% trainer4-63% i am not able to get consistent score above 65%.and my most difficult area is meds.no matter how much i study these meds there are still hundreds of meds which i havent even heared of.i am even toying with the idea of rescheduling the test, but then i also think that its better to finish up with the test coz even if i study for another one month i would be still in the same situation.would like to get some opinion from u guys.
  10. hi i am about to take the nclex test by mid january.though i have been trying to prepare since last one month ,i feel i am not reaching anywhere and with each passing day,i am becoming more and more tensed about the exams.i have started with saunders review book.could u tell me the correct method of preparing,no of hours i should study and the kind of books which i should use etc. Also if u could explain me what exactly is suzzanes tip for nclex. i have heared a lot about kaplans online course is it really helpful.should i attend classes or is self preparation by using books enough to pass nclex.i really gotta pass this test and its driving me crazy. please help me
  11. HI EVRYONE! i am really glad to find such a great community for nurses.i am a nurse from India and currently migrated to illinois.i would like to take the RN nclex test under the illinois board but have lots of doubts. i have already referred the idpr website n even tried calling up the dept of professional regulation but i was not able to contact anyone there.i would be grateful if anyone of u can clear some of my doubts. 1) can i apply under the illinois board only after my credential evaluation report is ready? 2)should my liscensing agency back in india sent the CT-NUR form directly to the illinois board or to me so that i can submit the CTNUR form along with my application? 3)how much time does the whole process usually take and how much time i have to wait befor i can get the RN test dates? 4)can i work as a part time cna till i get my RN dates.since i am already a nurse do i have to take the cna test? thanks in advance for the replies.please help.
