I just passed the Nclex on 06/14/2014 with 85 questions, I took the boards for Ohio to keep my IV certification; I am planning on endorsing my license to Michigan ( I live here in MI), My question is, Will I get hired here in MI if I am licensed in OH?

What type of test do I have to take? how is class so far for the students that are attending now?

Hi all, I've been recking my brain, trying to choose which nursing program in Ohio to go to. Can someone give me any info about these schools that i'll list? Hondros College, Athena Career Academy, Central School of Practical Nursing, Brown Mackie-Findlay, PSI, Owens community college, and Columbus Adult & Community Education School of Practical Nursing Program. I want to compare each program by cost, lenght of program, what kind of entrance test or prereq's, accrediation, quality of program and teachers, and wait list. I live in MI and like many of you, I am tired of the wait list and prereq's, I want to get in get the training I need to become a great nurse. I would love to hear the pro's and con's from current students and former students. Everybodys info is greatly appreciated.

when do the next cohort begin? and where can i take the ACT test, I cant get a response from the school, can anybody tell me

I'm a Certified Nurse Assistant, and I've been Certified for over four years now, I just moved up to Wixom, MI and I'm having a hard time finding a job in a nursing home or hospital. I've applied to several ads asking for a experienced CNA, but I haven't heard back from anyone, I guess my question is Do anyone know of any nursing homes who are currently hiring? Will anyone begin classes at OCCC at the Highland lakes campus for the winter semester? If so can anyone tell me about their nursing program. Also, I just moved to Wixom, MI from Detroit, and I'm looking for a job as a Certified Nurse Assistant, can anyone tell me of any jobs available in a nursing home in this area?

Did anyone get into the nursing program with Michigan Works, and how many applicants are they accepting?
