Good morning, thanks or your reply's. I am wondering if ANYONE knows whether there are nursing seminars online that I can view for excelsior's nursing program. I have been away from my studies since last year due to a horrible knee replacement gone wrong with a end result of Arthrofibrosis and Tendonosis that I am dealing with now. I only have two nursing classes left along with my psyc. they are making me redo! Any suggestions at all? Thanks Randy

You have every right to request the money and I hope you get it. I am 47 this month,as well as few months away from my nursing degree. I work in the ER and I have had to subdue many patients at work. I know for a fact that security gets paid big bucks since they state that (security) is the best kept secret in the hospital. So here's my point, I DO NOT get paid enough as a Tech., working 24 hours a week (so I can finish my nursing) that I can afford to get hurt at work by a psyc. patient, and collect some B.S. workers comp. money. Its NOT my Job to wrestle them, The funny thing was, yesterday, when we had another one in the ER, The security guy stated he had things to do. HMMMMMMMMMM???????? I hope you get the money.....and I think I will make it a point to speak up next time, Its what he's getting paid to do NOT ME! Thanks:cool: Randy

I have heard from a local fight company that they want people with 3 years field experience before they will hire you. Having a Paramedic certificate and working in the field will do that for you. Yes it's a lot on top of doing your nursing. That's why I am keeping my Paramedic for a while until I get done with nursing school. Best of luck Randy
