Hi Im super late with a reply. Sorry! I enjoyed the juvenile jail I worked level 8 it was very tough and poorly run but I enjoyed working with the kids but they are kids and can get under your skin at times! LOL. Im now PRN at a Level 6 facility. I left previous facility for two reasons: relocate for school and my boss was so unprofessional and was hostile to her staff, and the custodial staff it was truly sickening. How's it going so far? I miss the ER tons!!

Hi I have previously worked in juvenile corrections the "jail" part per se. I also worked ER and Psych ER for 2 years prior to my juvi experience. How did your interview go? Any questions I can answer for you?

Flightnurse2b, I see you are a LPN working in a hospital, I am relocating to Florida from the Northeast and have worked ER since graduating and I am having a heck of a time finding a hospital job do you know if your hospital or any surrounding you are hiring LPNS?,

Hi I am a LPN with almost two years experience. I was in the rut as you when I graduated but in the end I took the less paying hospital job and supplemented the lower income with perdiem/prn jobs. I have never regretted it, I have learned so much!:wink2: Best of luck to you!

Right but to enter the challenge I'm being told that it is full to capacity. But I was previously told if I passed the NET that they would try to have me enter the challenge this May. Well when I did just that I was told I am looking at May 2010 entrance. That really left a bad taste in my mouth about this school. I have already passed AP1 AP2 English 1 and 2 Psych Sociology and Chem and Math. I am very upset.

Hi sharihamill22. I have aplplied to Brookdale nursing program LPN to RN challenge. They told me if I passed the NET I could possibly be squeezed in. I passed the NET and I have all pre reqs needed to enter the program done and now I have spoken to two different people telling me I cant enter unil 2010 at the earliest. Any thing I can do to enter this year?

I received an ER job as an LPN right out of school. Unforunately, my hospital has layed off some LPNs on tele floors but not in ER. We do team nursing which means there will be 2 RNs and 1 LPN in an area and it works great! We have a travel nurse and he thinks it is the best idea! We are lucky enough to function as nurses and not "techs with licenses".
