  1. Hey, I had a quick question Is a graduate eligible for licensure in any state upon graduation? Are there any stipulations in any states that you know of? Also, I can't find it on their website, but I was wondering if you know if they have and ADN-FNP program, or if you are required to have your BSN first. Thank you!!
  2. Wow, wish I had read this before I signed on with them but so far my experience has been ok.
  3. I just finished my first semester--med/surg, med. admin., foundations, and clinicals. For those of you who will be just starting out....hold onto your hat! But if I can do it.....I believe you can too. I was even able to maintain my 4.00! You will lose your social life, and will eat, sleep and study! But it's worth it!
  4. yes hon, that's a lot of money! What about community college or a tech school? My tuition is less than $6000 and pays for everything, including books and all supplies.
  5. I start Aug. 25!!!! I have a two day orientation July 30-31. Soooo nervous and excited! I'm going to El Centro. Is anyone else in my class?? :nuke: Congrats to all of you!!!!! We're in for a ride!
  6. thank you all so very much for your replies! I'm not afraid to go into the program anymore! Thanks again!!!
  7. OOOOOOO!!!! I wanna be your friend!!! I'm going to school at Northlake/El Centro right now...and I hope to get into the LVN program. I think I'll be ok getting in. I do want to work in a LTC or Nursing home, but I was just worried about job opportunities. Hopefully if I can get on my feet, I can eventually move to Montana and go to RN school. That's down the road though! Thank you co much for your advice!
  8. Hello, I'm a pre-nursing student, preparing to enter the LPN program next fall. I was talking with an RN student in class yesterday who told me that she didn't go to the LPN program because jobs are scarce for LPNs. Is that true????? I live in the Dallas area, but hope to live up north in Montana or Colorado. Is what she said true???? Thank you so much
  9. I'm glad that yours is going easy! My prof is a GENIUS, and goes far off on tangents that are way over our heads! She'll draw molecules across the whole bored, and then move on to something different! Uggghhhh! I'm waiting to see what her first test will be like!
  10. I record each class, and then listen to them when I'm doing laundry, in the car, ect. It has really helped me a lot. I also like to use the companion website that the text has
  11. Hey, I just finished my second week of A&P 2. I'm excited but overwhelmed at how much studying is required! I love the material though. I'm hoping against hope that I can leave this class with a 4.00!
