Change.org petition for FNP Students
FNP Students, aren't we tired of not getting preceptors for our FNP clinicals and allow schools to pretend is our responsibility even though we are paying exorbitant prices for our education? Is time to start advocating for ourselves, I want to reach FNP students that will want to help me set up a Change.org petition to AACN (American Association of Colleges of Nursing), to change the current system and help students locate preceptors. Does anybody have any ideas of where to start? My background, I attended a brick and mortar FNP school, and upon time for clinicals, the students who could not get any placements were forced to wait entire semesters, delaying their graduation, some of the students even lost preceptors in the middle of the semester. Another set back, when you finally find preceptors and the school does not accept them, because they are either not primary care, or not enough experience, so is a lose-lose situation. If any body is interested, we can get our own topic, and find out how to start our petition, get the signatures required and contact AACN? Any other ideas? Pam C.

money to help pay bills while im in school!
I am in your case, and for everybody's info, to be a CNA you need a certification (at least in my state)and is not so easy either or free (actually is like 150 just for taking it), praying does work!!! So just have a little conversation with our Holy Father, and keep the belt tight!!! Good luck!!!

Confused about which nursing path to take!?
I am currently in an accelerated RN program, and to be honest, sometimes I wish I went for the LPN option, and get some more experience... sometimes everything is just so foreign... anyways... good luck

LPN (ADN) or RN?
I know this question have been asked many times but I still have the dilemma. I have the opportunity to get either in the LPN (ADN) or RN program. What would be better? Money wise? For career advance? The price difference is huge, and ADN will take longer... I amd 35 years old and with a family so I am not sure if I will ever have time or want to get back to school. Can anybody give me and advice? Thanks
