  1. Thank you for letting me know this. I have been so busy looking for work, I haven't had time. I will try to get more involved. Thank you for trying to contact me. Robbie
  2. I must say this is sad news. I was an LVN for 7 years, then became an RN in 6/2008. I have only been in GI. My registry filed bankruptcy in April of this year. I cannot find work anywhere in Orange County nor Los Angeles. I'm "active" with two registries now. They have no work as yet for me. I have excellent references and reviews. This evidently does not help me. I have $400.00 to my name and I'm losing my home I've owned for 16 years. Never would I have imagined being in a situation like this. I'm requesting prayers from all of you, and I will do the same.
  3. Your issue is not uncommon. I bet there are many in your class that sometimes feel the same way, they just don't express it. It's the stress of nursing school. Also with your BSN and an RN license, you don't have to work in a hospital, there are so many opportunities besides bedside care. I really feel you should finish what you started, because I believe there is a reason for everything. I wish you the best.
  4. Curious about what school district you are in? Read your student handbook carefully, as this is your guide in how you proceed with complaints. If you would like to discuss this further, it would have to be confidential.
  5. :nuke: The information I obtained was the same as you explained. In addition, there is also the factor of how quickly you respond to the questions. If one takes too long, they will continue past 75 questions to determine one's comprehension, critical thinking, and how quickly one would react in a real setting. I found this on the CA BON website. It was emphasized at Pearson to take your time. I began with that, but once I passed 75 questions, I had the instinct that I needed to speed up a bit! Most importantly, I felt prepared, and knowledgeable, as this increased my confidence and reduced stress while taking the exam. Yet, still, I fretted until I saw myself on the CA BON!
  6. My best wishes to all of you who did not pass the NCLEX. I fretted for five days until I got my results on BON website, and I passed. I should not have been fixated on comp shutting off at 135, but someone posted they failed at 135, so I worked myself up on that! It is different from testing in school. I feel my success the first time in passing had to do with many practice test questions I took on my computer from Kaplan. It was a very motivating course to help prepare and also Saunder's Review to know all those semesters of content you need to know! Best of Luck to you all, leave the disappointment behind and go for it! . You can do this!
  7. Took my test on Nov. 5, Wednesday morning, nothing on Saturday posting. Heard their behind. One of my friends took her NCLEX on Monday and got her results early on Friday morning. Is it true they post late on Monday's? Also Tuesday, Nov. 11th is a holiday, hope it has no influence on posting for me! Anyone have any advice or info on this?
  8. :wink2: I haven't received my info on BON website yet, but want to thank all of you who have responded to my fretting. I appreciate your caring and support. Here for you as well! Robbie
  9. Yikes! This scares me cuz my computer shutdown at 135, took my NCLEX yesterday morning. I didn't struggle with the test, but I'm struggling now waiting for the results! Do you think there's something to 75, 135, 265?
  10. Do you know why the NCLEX results are checked twice?
  11. I'm confused! Just took my NCLEX this morning. Computer shutdown at 135, I felt pretty good about my answers, took my time, left feeling pretty good. Now I wonder, since I just read that someone failed at 135 questions. Most people who have failed told me they went all the way to the end. what is your opinion? Also, does anyone know if Pearson Vue knows whether you passed or failed right after you take the test? Thank you.
