Each CRNA program is different. I didn't take the traditional route myself. I was Surgical Tech, then got my ADN, to ICU, then BSN, and then applied to CRNA school. Definitely check out this guide which can help you navigate your way to CRNA school.
Looks like you have great experience already. But if you are taking on a new position due to necessity then you got to do what's best for you. As far as CRNA programs, each is different and they look at the whole applicant. So there are other ways yo...
Just like with anything. The more you work at it, it becomes easier. I was like you are at one point thinking I couldn't learn this or that. The problem was I just wasn't given the right tools to learn. But I figured it all out and today I am a CRNA....
OK. That was grounds for appeal. But that is OK. You must move forward. It has been 3 years and by the time you are able to start a CRNA program it will be 4 or more. Again, I know personally both of those schools have accepted dismissed students in ...
Hi CriticalRN, don't give up. Something similar happened to me back in 2016. Today I am a CRNA. I would look at your handbook and appeal the decision. If its meant for you to be a CRNA, no one can take it away. It just might take longer and the path ...
There are interviews every month with February being the last one. The interview is super relaxed. I was not asked any clinical or medication questions. There was no test of any sort. You can be just accepted until you complete biochemistry. I bel...
No, there are interview sessions every month until February 9th, 2015. I just finished Biochemistry and am currently hanging out on the waiting list. Hoping to hear something any day.

Yea, that sucks. I left my phone at home this morning, went back to get it and was 40 minutes late for work. Well all I can say is- While I'm sitting here trying to figure it out, it is already worked out. :)
Well I am not from Virginia but applied for the Richmond campus, but I will go where ever they will accept me. The first time they called for the interview I was at work, didn't recognize the number but answered anyway. So now I got VCU's number sa...
I applied for VCU- Richmond campus and Case Western. VCU is my first choice and really only choice because I don't think I did so well at the Case Western interview. I'm also thinking we have another week of waiting. Dec. 9th would be great. So y...
