  1. I had a Pt that was as sweet as pie all morning and just as I am about to go to lunch I check in to see how she is doing (mind you a fellow class mate is in the same room with a different Pt) and all of a sudden she starts screaming "hey BLONDIE, BLONDIE I wasnt shaking until you got here now fix my arms blondie" (fellow classmate comes out from behind the curtian laughing) she comes over to my pt bed to see if she can help and the pt says "hey fattso get off of me" I just died laughing right over the pt. Fattso tucks her in nice and tight and as we walk out of the room says "you are not shaking now are you!!" I still crack up every time I think about it.:rotfl:
  2. I am in my 2nd semester and about 6 wks into clinicals, so far I love it. It stinks because you wipe rear ends all day but what a good way to get up close and personal with you patient. I guess you can say its better to start at the "bottom" and work your way up. Also realize not all clinical instructors are the same, the first 3 wks I had a lady who showed you nothing. She had a sink or swim attitude and dont dare ask a question. A few weeks later I have a guy who is calm and patient and oh my god WILLING TO TEACH what a concept. :monkeydance:
