heyy guys i am takin my test nov 24 for the 2nd time and super nervous....i have been slackin off on the studyin..im currently doin the ncsbn 5wk online review and its soo dry...i also start the martin 2wk review class on mon and hope it goes well and teaches me stuff taht i have forgotten since may. maaan i reallly hope we all pass this time around....honestly i dont know how much more of this studyin i can take. good luck to all!

heyy soon2pass..we;re kinda in the same boat..i also graduted in may...am from IL and also failed my nclex the 1st time i took it in aug. i took the online kaplan review course which i dont think helped me too much...well the questions were good and verry similar to the nclex q's but the content wasnt soo great. i just started the ncsbc online review...maybe u should try it out. its not verry expensive at all. i just signed up for the 5weeks for $69 and i am also taking the Dr. Martin Review which i heard alotta good things about from my RN coworkers. the martin review is going to be in chicago the dates are oct 29-nov 13 i believe however it is kinda pricey...i paid $450. dont give up...thats one thing ive learned. we got throught nursing school and now we just gotta pass this darn test. its not the end of the world and i believe that everything happens for a reason and we dont get to know that reason till later. so for now we just have to refocus and KNOW in our head that the next time we take this test will be the LAST time we take it. end of story.

Heyy all...i was just wondering if anyone has taken the NCSBN review course...ive had one friend who took it after she failed her nclex the 1st time and said it was helpful since nclex q's DO come from NCSBN..but i kinda wanted a little more feedback from others b4 i sign up for it and pay for it....sooo anyone taken it????

heyy roseweood did u pass? i didnt..i found out today that i failed after 160q's and now i gotta start the studying all over again. it sux. hope u passed..let us know.

i am with u guys as well..i took mine 8/7 had 160q's and didnt know wat to think of it after i was done. found out today that i failed and now i have to start all over again. it sux.

i failed...i took my test on 8/7 and found out 48hrs later that i failed. its horrible...thank god i was with my sister and she checked for me cuz i was soo nervous..her and my parents are REALLY supporting me and i thank God for having them this is by faar the suckiest feeling in the world.

heyy guys..dont know if u read my other thread...but i had 160q's, was there for 3 hrs and have nooo clue if i passed...for the 1st cpl q's i was guessing all the way adn i was sure that my test would stop at 75 cuz i was doing soo bad..but it kept goin and then stopped at 160...i dont know many ppl taht have passed at an even #..soo im reallyl scared..i dont wanna go thru all that studyin again:o just hoping and pray to God now that theres some sort of miracle...i had mayb 5 chk all that apply, no calc and mostly priority, meds, lotta OB, and other disease processes. i will find out my results tomm by 130-ish soo ill keep u guys posted... keep the prayer coming. thanks soo much

thanks soo much 2b...believe it or not im still reviewing...just tryin to read over some stuff..which probably wont even be on the exam..lol..ill probably get the most random stuff that ive never even heard about...lol...anyways 5 more hrs...plz pray!! hope God is with me on this one!

just took the saunders comprehensive 265q test thats at the end of teh book and got 67%...those q;s were ALOT easier than kaplan q's tho. are the nclex q's more like kaplan orr saunders?? does ne1 know??

my qtrainer 7 was 54%...my worst one was qtrainer #4...howd u do on that one?? and when do u take ur test?? ONE more full day to study:( BIG DAY----> aug. 7 1:15pm

Hey Pirituba...thanks for the advice...im finally done with qbank (avg. 53%) and qtrainer (avg. 52%)...i wish i could go out..but ive got this conscious where if i go out and have fun and end up failing im gonna blame it all on me going out instead of stayin home and doing qs. i probably study 6-7hrs/day and 100-150q's/day..it may not seem like a lot cuz i know some ppl on here are putting in 12hrs, but thats as much as i can handle. I did take break after graduation..we went down to texas bcuz it was my cousins engagement and he was having a big party for it..i would say that ive been studying for a month now...hope thats enough..how long did u study? i realllly hope i know my stuff well enough...i hope i dont get too many med q;s cuz i know im HORRIBLE on taht section. lookin @ my cummulative results ive been doing the worst in the physiological section soo i redid the q;s that i got wrong and looked @ the rationale for them. 2 more full days.... BIG DAY----> aug. 7 1:15pm

well i guess every1 just wants to read and not reply...its ok, i guess yest. was just a bad day...i got back to the questions last nite and did much better. im finally done with my qbank and ill just be reviewing my saunders and kaplan books till tue...THE BIG DAY...plz pray it goes well...thanks.

guys im soo bummed... my test is on tue and im finishing up on my qbank questions...im soooo sick of studying and its DEFINITELY showing on my scores..my last qbank score was 33%....IVE NEVER SCORED THAT LOW!!!! i would usually get 50s then i even made it to 60s and now its been 40s n now 33?!!??!?!! i just wanna sleep and NOT HAVE NCLEX DREAMS and just get this over with....and to be honest its not like ive trapped myself in my room and all i do is study... i take sufficient breaks and go out once in a while...i dont know im just scared cuz its soo close and instead of studying even harder i just want to blow it off ...plus my bday it tomm and im not even gonna be goin out. im gonna spend my bday @ home with kaplan. i soooo need to get my act together. help!

YAY good job on passing RN!!! wow my qtrainer scores are not that high at all..tehy were all in teh 50's...kinda scared. how many prac. questions did u do?

hey pasha...CONGRATS... how many practice questions did u do?? im at about 2000 now adn my test is next tue...i will continue wit the questions till tue morn probably...also, u know how in the kaplan course they "teach" u how to answer the questions..using the decision tree...did u use that when answering?? i find it very hard for me to think that way while answering... thanks and good luck again.

i was consistent with variations of 50% on all my qtrainers...my qbanks for some reason have been slightly better but still in the 50-60% range. wats the ATI test?? adn yes i have also known ppl who have passed even when they didnt do too well on the qtrainers.

kim we;re in the same boat..i take mine in exactly one week as well and im focusing on finishing my qbank q's and then reviewing my kaplan book. for those that have take the nclex----would u say that the questions are similar to the qbank/qtrainer questions?? harder? MUCH harder?? ONE MORE WEEK....
