  1. Hi there I am an LPN who went to concorde. I would like to tell you that all of my RN friends that went to concorde found really good jobs....and right away......... some in the hospitals and a couple of them went the LTC routt. I also have a friend who got her BSN at the DSoN and now works at Denver Health which was her first choice on where she wanted to work!!! Good luck with your future schooling-Maria
  2. I PASSED !!!I was sure I failed. Thank you everyone for your words of hope it helped me through these last two days:nurse:
  3. I took My NclexPN exam yesturday morning and it cut off at 85. I FEEL SICK AND VERY SCARED. The whole test I felt was hard. This is agony waiting for the results, and Im scared to see them. You are not alone:confused:
  4. OH MY I JUST SCHEDULED ON LINE WITH PEARSON VUE AND WILL TAKE THE TEST ON WEDNESDAY!!! Im so happy ..........congrats on your nclex. Thanks for the reply. (so how hard was it???)
  5. Thank You and Good Luck to you for your NCLEX. I called the Board and they helped answer my questions!!!
  6. ]HI, ]I just graduated at the end of June, barley got my official transcrips from my school last Thursday. I sent all my application paperwork in to the Colorado board of nursing and am now curious as to how long the application process is, and more importantly how long does it take to get a testing date??? My school told us nothing about what to expect..........if anyone can shed some light I would appriciate it......:uhoh21:
  7. The program is 13 months. A brand new class starts every 10 weeks. It is 25,000.00 dollars:twocents: No eve program at all ,you have to be able to commit to 8-3 monday thru friday and clinicals are 2 x a week and can range from 8 hour to 12 hour any shift weekends included. Mosty mine were 9 hour 6:30a to 3:30p. I did have to do 3 weekend days this whole time so far. We had 10 people drop out of my class that started with 30 within the first 2 weeks, I will graduate with 15 people in my class that I origionally started with , so for some people the program was not easy .
  8. Yes you can do a bridge program to a community college because they require you to have your LPN license to get in ,so you'll already have that after graduate concorde. I do know you do have to take some prerequisites like A&P 1 and 2(concordes A&P 1 won't transfer I already tried) Microbiology, English and Algebra. All of which, exept the A&P 1, are classes that Concorde did not reqire you to take as part of the program , so you really dont get jipped out of anything as far as that goes.
  9. You know I was thinking of doing the bridge program at concorde because its quick and I know they are working on getting their accredidation. I would be content with an assosiates degree for now. I heard from a friend who graduated from the concorde RN that Metro allows the credits to transfer, but I don't know how true that is. In the LPN program we are not required to take microbiology, college english, A&P II, and I think College Algebra, which are all prerequisites into any RN program ...so anyone ,regardless on where you recieved your LPN from, will have to end up having to take those courses. Its not just a concorde thing. So no I dont forsee any problems with my future education yet because I don't even have those classes under my belt. A lot of my friends from school are going to get their pre reqs for RN at one of the community colleges then apply to ACC's lpn -rn and get on the wait list. I know some others that are doing the on line program from Indiana State University for BSN......
  10. Hi there everyone I graduate June 30th from Concordes LPN program and I can say that it was a good experience, I have no regrets about it. I have heard that the RN program has a lot of issues and the students that want to continue and go on for thier BSN can't transfer ANYTHING to any state or private 4 year colleges because the RN program is not accredited.

I am currently attending Concorde to recieve my LPN Lic. I also have a friend in the RN program who really likes it. Im about 8 weeks into my program and so far its been good. Its expensive ,but there are no waiting lists. So I would recommend the school, if you have ant specific questions I'd be happy to answer them......
