  1. yeah that's right, really frustrating but as usual, pinoy trait, easily bounce back and always a positive attitude, there are other opportunities! thanks!
  2. by this time i guess you overcome that feeling and with a new baby coming, all is forgotten.Maybe this will help you feel better. The real meaning of a wasted LPN is taking a course of 2-year practical nursing and finished with all the hopes of making life better after graduation. The money used for my studies is a real sacrifice because I have 5 kids, all attending primary education but we persevere. Then after 2 years, just found out that LPNS in the Philippines are not given visas in the U.S. A sorry story but I think it's my fault for not researching first of the status of LPNS going abroad. I just enrolled and believed the school which is obviously ignorant of laws. For now I feel sorry for myself for all those false hopes especially my family who did the real sacrifice. But hey this is not the end of the world! I just pray and maybe there is a better plan for us.:):):):nurse::nurse::nurse::nurse: You will do fine...and the best practice for a nurse is MOTHERHOOD!
  3. thank you so much! right now i feel so down with the information but thanks anyway coz now i know what i should do. all pn graduates here in the philippines should sue all pn schools giving false hopes of landing pn jobs in america. to 2nd coursers of pn,better continue it to BSN coz LPNS from Philippines are not issued visas to U.S:o
  4. HI I JUST FINISHED pRACTICAL NURSING AND WANT TO KNOW IF THERE ANY GRADUATE OF PRACTICAL NURSING HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES WHO MADE IT TO THE US. bEFORE I APPLY FOR NCLEX-PN,ANYBODY THERE WHO CAN ASSURE ME THE EMPLOYMENT OF LPN IN THE US? THANKS!
  5. then why is it that practical nurses from Philippines are allowed to take NCLEX-PN examinations? I dou nderstand that if one passes the NCLEX-PN in a certain state,he can apply for work. Before applying for NCLEX-PN the applicant is also required to submit his credentails to the CGFNS/ERES/NACES accredited agencies before the eligibility is given. It also includes the taking of TOFEL/TSE/TWE/IELTS for english proficiency.Kindly enlighten me in this issues because this is what i do understand after reading the NCLEX Candidate Bulletin, visiting the NCSBN web and Naces WEB. thanks and hope to receive response soon:idea: Kaicee
