There's nothing wrong i guess to let them expose or train for I.V insertion, and its true as you'd stated government hospital in Philippines legal aspect is not observed in clinical areas but there are also hospitals careful in dealing I.V insertion ,nurse should be the one will carry out this order. Whats the Point then? if RN got her Certification then not good enough to find a good site?In emergency cases, you can"t say ,call this RN with certification to insert I.V line for this patient.,and to tell you frnkly,we have Nursing aid who's very good in I.V insertion if the staff nurses failed to insert,they will call this Nursing Aid.For me, no matter she's caregiver/Nursing Aid as long as they're trained & have a good experience ,.That ,they can save patient life condition.You can't say Nurses or RN with certification are good in I.V insertion ,.though its part of our scope but some nurses r not good enough..

Of course you should check patient's breathing & pulse as a first response but why Code Blue???Patient went Hypogly Dextrose 50% fast drip as emergency response the Rn/nurse supervisor can manage this case.Check BS,Calling for Code blue is not the priority

Right now i'm here in Egypt,Cairo.(just 3 mos. ago) Having my NCLEX self review & at the same time ,taking care of my 2 kids while husband working away from egypt..The reason i can't focus well on studying bec.oftentimes ,distracted of my kids situation. First,that always bothered me was ..,My kids nationality,they're Egyptian & I'm Filipina. Second,.What would be the outcome in terms of Petitioning? Sorry,for this question, i really don't have idea. What im trying to know is ,Is it hard ? or it needs long procedure to be followed ? I know i have to complete/pass the required Nclex,Ielts,etc.b4 i could reach this queries i've stated above, and the long procedure after passing .But, b4 i'll begin this long journey,.:oI wanna know my situation HOW? bec. if its hard,i'll decide to stop reviewing or reading my Saunders:o BTW,im still on the way of processing my School credentials as required by Pearsonvue to have ATT.
