  1. I would say A because the bp is dropping to fast, could cause damage as well. In another 15 minutes the bp will bottom out dangerously low.
  2. Who can help me with a list to group medication? I'm getting overwhemed with all the drugs I need to know for nclex. I have seen a list of the med groups but can't remember where. I really need help with the drugs to know. Your assistance will be much appreciated. Cheers Clau
  3. Hey, I am an overseas RN living in Australia. I Am preparing to take the Nclex exam the end of April. Where about from Australia are you?
  4. Hi to all, I'm am preparing o take my Nclex test the end of April. I am an overseas RN from an non English speaking country. after two attempt I'm sure I will pass this test this time although I am scare for pharmacology. I'm in Canberra and I'm looking for a study mate, it can be a distant study mate to share ideas or study materials. Good luck to all, we will nail this test soon or later. Cheers Clau12
  5. Hi everyone, Now that my nerve is settled a bit, I'd like to share my experience. Yesterday, I wrote my nclex RN test, and surely did not passed. That is the feeling that I have and im fine, next time better luck. However, I spent a lot of doing the Hurst online review which is a good source for content but I think I prioritized my study material wrong. A couple months ago I read through PDA and answered all the questions and did not pay more attention to the book till the morning of my test day which was yesterday the 21st of Jan. I swear my next attempt taking the nclex RN exam, I will stick to PDA. The question style is just like the real NCLEX exam and guess what, I recognised two questions from PDA on my exam. I would not know the answers if I did not read through that chapter that morning. My future study materials are going to be PDA, Kaplan 2012-2013, Hurst review and I will try to some chapters from Saunders. The disadvantage for me to go over Saunders book is" that it is so broad and boring" although it is a good book if you have the time and long attention span to go through it. Once again, I am posting this with you but not that my performance was up to standard otherwise I would have passed the test. I am desperate but dertermine to get my license soon or later. Good luck to everyone taking the test.
  6. Hi everyone, I took my test this morning and the computer shut off at 75 Qs. It does not feel right, I have a bad feeling that I failt the test. I tried the PVT but have not seen a link where to feel in my credit card details but when I go to my history and click on details, the amount I have previous paid is double. Does it mean Pearson vue rescheduled me again and will use my credit card details they have on file from me? Will my feeling be correct that I failt the test since another additional $200 appeared on the screem? I need help please. Thank you. from a broken and desperate human.

After all, I finally got my ATT.I submitted a new application form, paid all the fees again and after three weeks, I called the BON to verify if my mail was received I was told to registered with Pearson vue which. I did that and a couple hours later I received my ATT. So now I will be scheduling to write the test in February. I can't wait to sit the test but at the same time I get nervous of all the study material I have to review. CheersClaudi

Hello all,What happened with the American spirit" Time is money ". Lately no one seems to care about time. For three weeks I have been trying to get an answer from NM BON whether a new set of finger print cards have been sent to me already. I made several calls, left messages but still no response. I am so over it. Shall I submit my application forms and pay the fees while I am waiting for the fingerprint cards to arrive or should I wait till I finally receive the cards and submit everything in once. After more than a year of waiting I so want to finish this to get my ATT to book a test date for the NCLEX. Thanks for your assistance.Clau12

Thank you steppybay, You are right. I was up set and frustrated but I need to relax and just take things as they come because everything happens for a reason. I started to gather the required forms to send my application straight away as I receive the new finger print cards. My IELTS (the English) test result is valid till late February, do you think the NM BON will require me to write a new English test? I like to be prepared that's all. At least the BON has my CES report already. Thanking you for your quick reply. God bless

I have been busy for a bit more than a year to get my CGFNS report one and now it is complete I am facing another obstacle with the NM BON. In may 2011 I have submitted my application forms, fingerprints and criminal police check, paid all fees to hear that my file has been destroyed. I will have to start all over again and pay the fees I already have paid.I am so up set with the whole thing, I just want to get over and done with the whole procedure to get my RN license. Which nursing board work faster with a low application fee? My CES is now done, I cannot afford it to waste another year with paying money for nothing in return. Please help with any valuable information.ThanksClau

Yes, I have. April last year I paid the fee and sent my finger print and application form to the BON. But I don't really know what the next step will be once the BON receives my CGFNS CES report. It has been sent early this week I have been told.

  13. Any one knows how genuine Continenal Travel Nurse? Is it a reliable agency to do business with ? How trustworthy are they to work for and has any one worked through/for this agency before? How great is the chance to extend your next session after the thirteen work weeks and is it possible to get a perminent position in any of the hospitals you were contracted by? I've got my NMC nursing license from the UK so I don't have to go through all the hassle but are there other requirements before I will be able commence as an RN? I hope someone out there can assist me with relevant info? Thanks in advance.Clau

Hi all, I am so frustrated and fet up with cgfns. On the 9Th of August my status has been changed to ready to review. Since than I have called twice and I've been told that it will take 8 to 10 week from the above date to submit my report to the BON. What I do not understand is why it has to take so long. Once in 2006 I've received an ATT so I suppose my overseas qualification has been evaluated before. Therefore, I do not get it why CGFNS needs so much time. I am wondering if there is another orginisation who does the same work as CGFNS. They seem to have a lot of power. I am so angry with their attitude. Cheers Clau
  15. Hi all, My CES status stated ready to review since 9Th of August 2011. Anyone knows how long it will take to submit the outcome to NM Bon? I have paid the New Mexico Bon all the required fees but I am scared that I will have to pay again since CGFNS takes so long to finalised their evaluation. Is there something I can do to speed up the procedure? Slowly, I am losing my motivation to prepare for the NCLEX since I have no clue what to expect and how long more to wait. All replies are welcome. Cheers Claudi
