    Stats with first semester NS?

Hmm, sounds like I'm getting mixed reviews! I think what I may do it try out a stats book and see if it's something my brain can process...LOL
  7. Hello all! I have a question for all you seasoned pros! I am currently signed up to take a 3 credit hour statistics class with my first semester of (ADN) nursing school this fall. For those of you who have taking your first semester RN and/or statistics class, is this a manageable combination? I need to take it eventually but I don't want to do anything to sabotage myself either.. Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

    Fort Worth question

Hey yall! I'm going to be moving to Fort Worth when I graduate nursing school and my goal is to get a job at Cooks. Do any of you know if they are willing to hire a new grad in the NICU or L&D? Those are the two areas that I feel are my "calling"! :redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe Also can you tell me what the pay is like in the area? Thank you all so much for your info!!!

    6-week summer chem?

I couldn't agree more!!! I have been DREADING chemistry! I guess I should have mentioned that the other reason I'm taking it in the summer is because I have 2 little boys (2 and 5) and my mother-in-law is a teacher so she is off and helps me out with them! It's a HUGE benefit because she keeps them while I'm in class and if I need study time she is more than glad to help me out! That is the main reason I'm putting myself through 6 weeks of TORTURE!!! lol I just keep reminding myself how relieved I will be when it's over and done with.

    6-week summer chem?

What a great idea! I will definitely have to schedule myself a full-body massage as a little reward when I'm finished....

    6-week summer chem?

Hello friends! :heartbeat I have signed myself up for chemistry this summer so I could avoid taking A&P and chem at the same time this fall. So I guess my question is to those who have attempted a summer chem class...or any chem class for that matter! Did you like it? Do you think it was helpful that it was so concentrated so you could focus solely on it and just get it over with? Or do you think it was a lot more difficult taking it in such a short amount of time? Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

    ACT on June 9th???

The nursing program I am trying to get into requires you to take the ACT and score AT LEAST a 21 with all subscores above 19. Any advice or fellow test takers?
